You have to respect his determination I suppose. Even if I had been stupid enough to go out and try that, that first smackdown on the beach would have been enough for me to let go of the kite.

Well, not to give the guy too much of a break, I think you are actually strapped into those things. Look at the guy in the white shirt towards the middle thats walking around. he is another dumbass but you can clearly see some type of harness system around his abdomen.
