McCain's 'Judeo-Christian values' reference puzzles
WASHINGTON - On a frozen winter evening at a Town Hall meeting in a school in the Manchester, N.H., suburbs, John McCain expressed surprise and irritation with an intelligence report downplaying the threat of Iran's nuclear program.
At the end of a long list of reasons to be suspicious of the Iranians, McCain declared: "And they sure don't share our Judeo-Christian values."
Nice in-depth foreign policy analysis from McCain.
I wonder the Republican candidate for president thinks of India or Japan...

"our Judeo-Christian values" ... represented by McBubba's adultery and political corruption.
"our Judeo-Christian values" also produce 1000s of scamming, false evangelists/Bible-thumpers sucking $Bs out of sheeple/bubba pocktets.
(McAnkleBiter's son apparently has his own Keating5 banking/financial corruption which is no doubt being suppressed and ignored by the corporate media and McSame's goons)
Iran has Iranian values, which must be destroyed by the US because they are not J-C values.

Poor choice of words by McBoutonsisadouchebag. But what other reasons did he have?

Russia is primarily Eastern Orthodox Christian...surely they share our Judeo-Christian values and are above suspicion?

Again, I think it was just a poor choice of words. What else did McBoutonsonlycherrypicksstories say?

As usual boutons has to misstate what was obvious. McCain was not putting it on a personal level, but on a national level. Iran certainly does not share our values. Try being a Christian in Iran or any number of Muslim countries. You will end up with your head in your hands.

Seriously, this is the problem with our society when it comes to politics. All of you assclowns on the political forum and all over the internet take one comment and ride it like it's going out of style instead of looking at the overall issues.
Obama is a rockstar..............so let's talk about how cool he is for the next 3 months while ignoring actual policy.
McBoutonssuckscockandloveseveryminuteofit is going to be exactly the same as Bush but let's not examine if that is true or not and just assume that it is.
Obama told everyone to inflate their tires, but let's not listen to the rest of his speech.
McBoutonshasnolife only favors the wealthy, but lets not actually break his tax plan down and just assume it's anti lower class.
No one listens to the rest of any of these speeches, both sides are equally guilty of it, and spurstalk.com will not have any effect on the presidential election...............sorry Dan.

Not neccessarily. You might gain some useful knowledge by reading the book of Revelations.

So we should be fearful or suspicious of any nation whose values and laws aren't rooted in Judeo-Christian traditions?

"Iran certainly does not share our values"
Try being a Muslim, black, or most any type of ethnic in USA, ie, "outgroups", and see how the white, Christian ingroup discriminates against you.

You certainly should when a nation is "ruled" by Muslim fanatics. If you aren't, then you certainly are a fool.

Yeah, boutons, see discrimination every day at the corner store. Or how many motels.
One point you should consider. discrimination is a whole lot different than
a sentence of death for being a religion other than Muslim. Or try being
gay, or having an "affair" if married or not. Haven't seen too many
religious police around town lately, have you?

Then why didn't he say that Iran is ruled by Muslim fanatics?
There's an implication in McCain's statements that not sharing our Judeo-Christian values is not a good thing. If that's what he believes, he's grossly arrogant. And if he'll make policy with that belief in mind, I think he's dangerous aswell.

"both sides are equally guilty of it" "it" meaning lies, slander, misrepresenation against the other candidate? you're lying. McJerk and the Rovian slime machine are vastly more guilty of baseless attacks the the HUSSEIN org. List the baseless, lying slime that HUSSEIN has thrown at McJerkoff? Your lie is that both candidates are equal, is part of the slime on HUSSEIN! rockstar and messiah are misrepresentations by the slime bots to mock the enthusiasm of HUSSEIN's supporters, none of which exists among McFucktard's supporters.

Easy there Captain Douche Bag. You're missing the point. Point was that no one ever listens to the "rest of the speech", or everyone fails to actually do any research about the candidates and they take shit like the above article and run with it.
I think Obama sucks, and I won't vote for him. I wll vote for McBoutonsisacompletetwat because he isn't Obama. But that doesn't change the fact that internet political followers are the new "gossipy high school cheerleader"................like yourself..................Goooooo Team!!!

Again, I think it was just a poor choice of words.
Poor choice of words implies that there is a good way to say that McCain considers the religion practiced in Iran to be inferior. Why on Earth would Iran have Judeo-Christian values when they are neither Jewish or Christian?
