when they talk about the election they always have a white person talking for the Republicans and an African American is always the spokes person for the Democrats. Am I the only one that notices this? It's so obvious what they are trying to do

Fox has a LOT of guest analysts. I would say that blacks, women, etc. are proportionally represented in their analysts. And this is wrong why?

so your telling me that you believe there is no racial issue with the guys that tune in for Sean Hannity every night? common, 7 out of the 9 guys I work with have a problem with Obama's race and they are the reason I have to watch Fox News all day. Considering the income demographics/stereotypes between Republicans and Democrats I would say that there are probably more old school Democrats that are going to have a problem voting for Obama in November because he is black than Republicans. The suggestion that there is a subliminal message in the selection of analysts may be a stretch (I don't think it is too much of a stretch, personally, but... sure, it could be coincidence), but suggesting that race isn't at all a factor in the negative depiction of Obama, Fox News and elsewhere, is ostrich level denial.

they were reporting for over an hour that U.S. Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones, a Cleveland Congress woman, died today- that she was DEAD. The only thing T Park has ever won in his life is the award for being the most pretentious, horn tooting douche bag on this site.
Fuck, I was only on this site for like a week when I was easily able to recognize that not only is this guy in love with himself, but the shit he posts comes across borderline retarded and makes him look like an even bigger idiot then he already is.
I'm also a big fan of his posting in every radio thread and mentioning, "hey, then when I'm on the show" and adding a ":lol" after each one of these comments to pretend he was only joking when if you've read more then one of his posts you'll immediately recognize that he is indeed not joking but rather throwing the bait out there and hoping and praying for a bite.
Of course we know that this will never come true based on his previous radio gigs..........which amount to calling into a second rate radio show in a second rate radio market and going on and on and on and on and on and on and on about what happened with the Spurs in the mid 80's.
Finally, what makes it all come together is that the dude looks like he eats small children on a regular basis and drinks whiskey straight from the bottle.

that isn't what I'm saying. I'm saying that if they are indeed doing this on purpose (it happened again this morning), what they are doing is trying to separate the parties and associate them with a race. They won't come out and say it, and you may not think you notice it, but by doing it every day I think it get stuck in your brain. I don't think it affects everyone, but it pushes the people that have a hard time with Obama's race towards McCain. How could anyone tell me it couldn't do that? If a white guy in Kansas, who normally votes Democrat, but is having reservations about having a African American President watches this every day and has come to associate Democrats as the Black party, and Republicans as the white guys- what do you think that will do? I mean race isn't a big deal to some people- but it is a big deal to alot of people, and a news network playing on that is shameful

My bad, I forgot that any insult against Duel and his show is a direct insult at you as well.
I apologize.
Continue your blatant ass kissing.

Did you insult Duel? I didn't notice.
I was just laughing at the fact that you can't even post in a thread about cable news without going off on a "I hate San Antonio radio" tangent.
The blatant ass kissing ended when the back wheels of the bus ran over my head.

It was really more of a tangent in regards to Tpark and since his "thing" is sports talk, then why wouldn't I bring it up?
You know, for someone that drives a truck for a living, you sure are here a lot.....................kidding.

in response to the hot blonde posted above, i offer Greta Van Susteren:
:wow::howling noises:: homana homana homana ::howling noises:: :wow
i also have a theory that the creators of the show "American Dad" modeled the main character after Sean Hannity. just a theory though, and i think that show sucks too tbh.
and i love how colmes is such a shriveled and weak-looking nerd compared to the burly hannity. :lol
I think that's really funny too. Have you ever heard Colmes win an argument? Have you ever read those counts where they count the number of words each one speaks on the show and Hannity out does Colmes 2:1? :lol So I suppose it makes perfect sense that Hannity (the self described "arch-conservative) handpicked Colmes (former stand up comedian and self described "moderate liberal") as his partner, huh? The intent from fair and balanced Fox all along was to bring us the "Hannity and Colmes Show". :p:

Haha good point. I guess the liberal douchiness of celebrities offsets that.

With all three major networks + CNN clearly in the bag for Obama I find it hilarious that Obama is whining on a daily basis about how mean Fox is being to him :lmao

I'm not saying Fox is against Obama- because Rupert Murdoch has publicly started he supports Obama, and he owns Fox- I am however saying that Fox is trying to rile people up about the election and basically making a mockery of it- as News Corp does with everything they touch. Has anyone checked out a New York Post headline lately? They are in the entertainment business, not the news business.
www.nypost.com (check out the 3rd headline for proof of this

If you watched fox you wouldn't need links. They show the video...He's taken jabs at them every day this week.

Just trying to offset MSNBC and CNN I presume.
Offsetting truth with bullshit? I guess, if you say so. :lol
I guess if one is looking for a balance of news and baloney, then we need Fox "news"

Well I don't watch FOX, seriously, why would I? If he's doing that so much, just embed a youtube video.

I spend much of my time at the University I usually ready the paper or use the www to catch up on the news. But I was curious to see for myself what all this FOX news talk I read in here is all about so I went to the break room here at work and watched about 10 minutes of FOX news just now. They had a lady fill in for Bill on the Factor and all I heard was how Obama is a whiner, and how McCain is leading in the poles, etc.....
this lady had nothing good to say about Obama ,and went on to praised McCain every chance she had. So I don't know where anyone in this forum gets this "fair and balanced" when talking about Fox news.

Something else funny they did today
they were reporting for over an hour that U.S. Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones, a Cleveland Congress woman, died today- that she was DEAD. So they broke to a live press conference and her Doctor came out and explained she has been in critical condition since she was taken in, but is in stable condition- what the hell, check your sources
In Fox News' defense... everybody screwed the pooch on that call. I'm actually pretty glad my company didn't send out alerts when the news first broke (I heard the death call on NPR citing Cleveland.com and then the retraction about 20-30 minutes later citing the Washington Post, IIRC. Plus, AP sent out the alert kill about 10 minutes later, which was still or right around 2 p.m. CDT).

No "gotcha" to it. I just have no intention of wasting time looking for it. I've already seen it. It might come as a shock to you but I really don't give a shit what you think.

It's no wonder you cut and paste so much shit in here. You clearly have a problem with reading comprehension.
