I think in future Olympics, the USA should be crowned the gold medal before the games even start and allow the rest of the world to compete for Silver and Bronze.

Only seems fair to me.

Not the way they played from 2001-2006. They still need to earn it every time.

Agree..than we also can forget about the gold. But it will be interesting if all best college players got into training camp couple months before Olympics to gel and got couple of tryout games before that. That would be more interesting than see NBA players fight for gold
