It wasn't a Kanye West commercial, it was a commercial for a alcoholic beverage.

Though, he probably was charging a hand and foot for the rights to his songs. :lol

I'll be the first to admit I'm not a fan of rap, but he's one fo the few that I've heard (of mostly mainstream stuff) that is actually talented. Not hugely talented (especially when you compare him to other musicians) but talented nonetheless.
