I like our lower bowl seats with the blue, teal, and greenish colors. However, I HATE the hideous upper level yellow seats. stupid color choice whenever that arena was built.

Great. Let's put a bunch of money in renovating the arena when there are still thousands of people homeless and jobless three years after the hurricane.

son the state had nothing to do with financing this. so what are you trying to say? that the Hornets should donate all of their profits to helping Katrina victims? They have done enough with helping out the community for Katrina. Not to mention, things are pretty much back to normal around here with few exceptions. the people who are STILL "homeless" and STILL living in FEMA trailers were the same way before the hurricane. lazy and living off of the government. why start working now whenever FEMA still feeds them 3 meals a day and gives them a free trailer to live in?.... The poor victims who lost their homes and were working citizens are back on their feet for the most part.

That actually makes a lot of sense.

Why is every team adopting UCLA colors?

And Orlando wants their home uniforms back.

Hornets should have saved that money on a new court to buy a bench.

Didn't those people already get money handouts?

How long are the taxpayers supposed to support them?

son the state had nothing to do with financing this. so what are you trying to say?Perhaps the local paper will say it more clearly:

The Saints and Hornets also compete for government subsidies. Thanks to an unprecedented deal struck in 2001, the Saints receive annual guaranteed inducements from the state, ranging from $20 million this fiscal year to as much as $23.5 million from 2009 to 2010. In the Hornets' recently amended lease, the club can count on as much as $7.5 million in annual state subsidies.

I suppose the Louisiana state government could get props for being so brazenly open about cutting checks to sports teams.

It gets more interesting. As of April, Louisiana was actually $6 million short of what they owe the Saints and Hornets, and next year they are projected to be $19 million in the hole. If they aren't paid in full, either team is free to relocate. I'll see if there have been any updates.

Does it come with some sort of sound system to make it's own booing sound?

It seems like that's all the crowd in NOLA did last year.
