Rob Hennigan Bio

DIRECTOR OF BASKETBALL OPERATIONS

In his fifth season with the Spurs … named the team’s director of basketball operations in September of 2007 … responsible for overseeing the team’s college and international scouting as well as assisting in the day-to-day operations of the front office … joined the Spurs as an intern during the 2004–05 season … was named the team’s basketball operations assistant in the summer of 2005 … graduated from Emerson College in 2004 with a degree in broadcast journalism … named a Division III All-American and an Academic All-American as a senior ... was the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Player of the Year three consecutive seasons … finished career as the all-time scoring leader in Emerson history … a native of Worcester, Massachusetts … he and his wife, Marissa, reside in San Antonio

So basically, this guy was responsible for our College and International Scouting beyond 2004-2005?

In other words, good riddance. :lol

graduated from Emerson College

Ah, that explains it.

And yeah, I guess I do remember reading about this guy once.

He was pretty high up in the organization. He was the tall, lanky guy who a lot of people confused with being a player.

I was wondering why Presti didn't take Hennigan in his first wave of hirings. Presti brought in Hennigan to the Spurs (both went to Emerson) and it was just weird Hennigan stayed behind. The Spurs obviously valued him because they gave him a big title rather quickly.

The Spurs must have fewer people in upper management positions than any team in the league. But at least they have Dennis Lindsey . . .

At least now we don't need to fire him. Good riddance.

Dennis Lindsey is starting to question his impact on his peers.

Maybe the Spurs can salary dump Lindsey. Lindsey and the Rockets second rounder back to Houston for nothing.
