milkyway21

okay 3 from Suns, 2 from Spurs. But, no King :king ?
And no Jason Kidd?This selection of the All-Star reserves w/o those 2 is a joke. :lol ARe we TOO excited of the Suns' resurrection this yr. we forgot how good the Kings' players are?
BTW,

which player deserves complain laudest over All-Star reserves votes? :rolleyes

1.Webber-the only player aside from KG w/ 20-10-5 stats this season;
2.Jason Kidd-2 triple doubles despite playing only 31 games;
3.Brad Miller;
4.Steve Francis;
5.Chauncey Billups-2003 Finals MVP :rolleyes

Bibby? If Parker did not make it those 2 are the two best WCF PGs 1A and 1B (take your pick) after Nash.

Hey! That's my opinion. If you would look at some games and some stats and pull the Popacock out of your ass, you might be able to understand.

Richardson dropped 30+ again tonight and 10+ rebounds. Something Manu will never do.

So STFU.

I thought one of the Kings would make it. So I guess Webber is my idea of the biggest snub. All in all there were some very difficult choices.

Since Parker had the most fan votes of any guard who didn't make it, I wonder if he will be the replacement if Kobe is out.

I hope they WIN tonight vs. the Suns.

Manu is not going to represent. Dude will come out and drop 10. 20 here, 12 there, 8 here, 24 there... etc. etc...

Players that are real allstars will drop 20+ every night. It has nothing to do with being a Spurs fan, fuck it, take all of them.. let them all play... Malik, Beno, hell, they have had big games too...

Manu doesn't represent the allstar club. He didn't tonight. And the snubs did.

Ask Terry Cummings about the snub list.

Skills challenge, and I've also heard that TP wants to go to Vegas if he isn't going to be in "the game". Can't say that I blame him. He's played in the rookie/soph game twice, and done the skills challenge already. I'd take the week off, too. Spurs have a game on Wed. before the AS break, and don't have another until the Wed after the AS game.

I think Bibby will get picked for Kobe's replacement, to "right" the Kings not getting a player in (not far to Parker, but I digress).

I also expect Tony to either be involved in the Skills Challenge or the Three Player squad to represent SA.

Bibby sucked ass tonight. He missed 2 key FTs late in the fourth, and his last two shots. He also made the mistake of giving Chrissie Webber the ball with 16 seconds left so that she could miss. Then Miller got his layup blocked by Amare with 8 seconds left. I think that about covers your Sacramento Queens non-All Stars.

02-09-2005, 02:29 AM
well, I still think 1 sac player deserve to participate in the ASG, irregardless of the loss tonight by just 2 pts.

I expect them to show up for the 3-player squad. if TP get invited along w/ DRob(you think it's possible for the Admiral to play in the ASG again?), they'll lose.

If you want to just look at the numbers, here are some of the top players in efficiency/game (with their ranking) that got snubbed.

Webber (8)
Miller (11)
Brand (12)
Hughes (16)
Marbury (19)
Francis (20)
Gasol (21)
Odom (22)
Boozer (23)
Bibby (24)

But the player most undeserving who did make it would be Jermaine O'Neal.

As well as getting a triple double, Webber was very clearly the go to man last night vs PHX in crunch time, repeatedly. And it was his excellent pass out a double team to Miller that should've won the game. SAC obviously thinks Webber is an All-Star.

( How Miller, 7-ft tall, standing with the winning ball in his hands with 2 seconds left, does NOT jump straight up a couple inches, go up strong for a 2-handed power dunk has to be seen to be believed. )
