Anyone Have A MotorCycle/Scooter ? Need Your Help

I wanted to get a scooter to go from my apartment to my work, it's only 5 kilometers a.k.a. maybe 3-4 miles. I was thinking of buying a 150cc Scooter, It's a genesis brand and costs about 2 G's.

Any advice on what to look out for and whatnot.

I had a 150cc Tank it is a Chinese knock off scooter. It was cheap and ran good but cheap plastic and parts kept falling off. I sold it and next time I get one I will get a Burgman much better built plus faster which really helps when some A-Hole cuts you off.

loving this scooter right now. been looking for a few months trying to find a good deal on a used one. they retail for about 2k, and i've seen used ones as cheap as 1200 bucks.

it's only 49cc though, which means i'll probably be lucky to get it up to 40 mph... but the upside is that you don't have to have a special motorcycle license to drive it.

probably not the greatest everyday use scooter, but you can't beat the mad-max-esque styling.

definitely the 'man's scooter' if there is such a thing
