Both parties are a joke. It is sad it has come to this...the charismatic, fake promise filled black candidate vs the old dog and his hot female trainer.

Texas needs to secede from the union.

It's all they have.

All their energy goes into gotcha politics, instant televised outrage, and campaigns based on wedge issues (gay marriage in 2004, etc.). Then they get into government and it's a disaster.

My friend Peter Hitchens is no friend of Bush, but he sees Obama for the fake he is.

Hoo boy, listen Joe. Obama used his surrogates to uncover dirt on his primary opponent's divorce proceedings and then used information against his first General election opponent Jack Ryan to take him out (his wife was Jeri Ryan from Star Trek Voyager) Your GOP smears people comment is a joke. :ihit

Just stick to basketball.

You're absolutely right. Obama forced Jack Ryan to try to get his wife to have public sex with him and others in strip clubs. That Obama!

Why should you care? after all that type of lifestyle is OK in your worldview. That tactic was used to depress the GOP base. I worked in the California State Senate for 10 years and witnessed 40 years of non-stop Dem dominance. The result? Massive deficits, a 10 percent income tax for people making over $50,000, a sales tax approaching nine percent in cities like San Francisco and bloated state government. Yea, let's work for "change." Muffling christians from questioning a certain lifestyle, a healthcare system that will be full of graft within ten years and confiscatory taxes that make today's taxes look like peanuts. No thanks!!

Ah--the perks of being the front man for the Daley/Chicago/Cook County Democratic machine: a well established sleeze & slime network, complete with a dirty tricks division; then there are all those dead folks who rise up out of their graves to vote for the chosen candidates

Just trying to be honest...people have been fooling themselves too long with the same song and dance of our pathetic government and its self absorbed, wasteful ways. Set some term limits to Congressional seats and you at least have a start towards change.

People may say their frustrated and tired but yet they keep electing those same corrupt politicians to capital hill, and like in Texas with Cornyn, to State office....face it, we are our own worst enemy...we want our politicians to bring home the bacon....

Exactly...our selfish ways as a society has led to much of the unchecked corruption. We are willing to look the other way on many other things that are influenced by the congressional "good ole boy" network if our own mouths get fed. We are in a sad state and until we become more willing to make sacrifices for the greater good then nothing will change.
