Went down after he took a handoff and started grabbing at his foot, was unable to leave the field on his own.

Oh well wasn't like he'd be the deciding factor in getting smoked in a bowl game by another SEC school.

i expect he'll play against SC, but not next weekend. anybody heard anything other than the x-rays were negative...that doesn't really say much.

He has turf toe injury. He shouldn't play next week against Ohio U.

Even if it's just turf toe, Tressel would be smart to sit him out next week anyway. Wells might not like that as it may hurt his Heisman chances.

Damn, what the fuck is tOSU going to do to edge their way to a massive choke job without Beanie?????

Beanie is out of the Heisman race.

Beanie is out of the Heisman race.

why? was it the 8.5 yards per today? or will it be missing one game against Ohio?

He is alright, he will play vs USC- I'm not just speculating- it's fact

he was doing great for his YPC, but 111 isn't gonna be enough, plus he might miss next week. those are 2 of the easiest games on your schedule, where he was suppose to build up his YPG. he can still win it, but it would take a miracle.
all it takes is missing 1 game, ask Dennis Dixon.

Tough to compare it to Dennis Dixon. He missed 2 1/2 games (not including missing the bowl game) and it was the end of the season. In terms of the Heisman race, if a candidate is going to miss a game, it's better if it's at the very beginning of the season. Now, if he misses multiple games, that's a different story. But, if he just misses one game and stays healthy, it's hard to argue he's out of the Heisman already.

Dennis Dixon missed 3 Games

C. Wells 16 /46 1TD

those were his stats against YSU last year and he still managed over 1600 yards

common, if your gonna bring it bring it- don't just talk out of your ass. He is fine, he can still win the Heisman if he only misses a game or 2. He will be fine.

This is stupid. Down Beanie....where is down goes Maclin? He rushes, recieves, returns punts, and returns kicks, and is much more important to Missouri than Wells is to OSU! Maclin though, will be fine too. Isnt it funny that both players went down with a leg injury, and where untouched?

Wont be playing this weekend. that will definitely hurt his Heisman chances.
