It's a talking point. It got passed around. Echo chamber stuff.

I'll let whoottt babble on for a bit before making a point of my own.

Sigh...it sucks that I am going to have listen to this sort of political insight for yet another 4 years :depressed

You've succeeded on changing my mind about one thing though...they need to take the VP nomination back from Cindy.

And why does everyone keep shitting on Canada?

I'm gonna stick my neck out and bet Doocy's brilliant observation was not part of the McCain campaign's set of talking points.

It's reflexive at this point; anytime one of them says something, others pick it up. It's like Meerkat Manor or something. Do meerkats bark? It's a bark fest.

Almost as amusing as Biden trying to spin being a lawyer/congressman and riding the Acella train into some mythical Blue collar bonefides.

Round trip 200 bucks a day.

Had John McCain said it instead of Cindy it would be newsworthy imo. Coming from Cindy though, who's biggest task might be picking out white house decor if her hubby wins the election, it's useful for a few shits n giggles, and that's about it.

What's going to be funny is when everyone laughing about citing Alaska's proximity to Russia realizes just how intertwined Russia and Alaska actually are...a lot of people, Democrat and Republican alike, are going to get owned. It's not a laughing example...Alaska does have a relationship with Russia, a deep one.

Laughing about it is almost like laughing at saying a Govenor of Texas has insight into Mexico because Texas is close to Mexico...it's not that much of a joke.

Alaska and Russia have been intertwined exactly twice:

- When a bunch of Asians crossed the land bridge centuries ago
- When Russia sold the territory to Seward

Monthly ticket is about $1,000. Car payment, maintenance, insurance and gas for that route might be about that much.

Did you know he throws a party for all the train employees, who he knows by name, every year?

So, how else do you want to look retarded?

False...

Why do people argue with me about this sort of thing?

It's like you would think they'd learn after the first thousand times...

You will be backpedaling soon...so you might as well just go ahead and start now...

Is it true she just got her passport for the first time last year?

She's been out of the country before. They adopted their daughter from overseas while Cindy was doing missionary work. That was before the 2000 election.

Do you mean Sarah "more experience than Obama/Biden combined" Palin?

She went to Kuwait last year, I think. She got the passport for that. Otherwise, no. But, like, Russia.

She went to Iraq too.

When did Barack go again?

In 2006, with Evan Bayh, Harold Ford, and Christopher Bond.

In 2008, with Jack Reed and Chuck Hagel.

I don't think he ever "strolled" through the Baghdad market though.....
