The evening was full of Biden-isms, including the inevitable Obama/Osama slip, made when Biden was discussing the mountainous Afghanistan-Pakistan border "where Obama, Osama Bin Laden lives, and Obama wants to go to get him."

Ashley Blazer Biden, 21, of Wilmington, Del., was with a group outside a North Side bar about 1:15 a.m. Aug. 3 when someone threw a bottle at an officer, said Jerry Lawrence, a spokesman for the Cook County state's attorney's office. When officers tried to make an arrest, Biden blocked one of them and made intimidating statements, police said. Circuit Court Judge William P. O'Malley dropped the misdemeanor charge after Biden and two of her friends apologized to police in court for their actions.
