LeBron gets S-M-O-K-E-D (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/basketball/nba/09/03/bc.bkn.lebron.ap/index.html)

He got blown out by a warehouse worker in an exhibition game of H-O-R-S-E. After he lost the first game he wanted to go best 2 out of 3...And he lost the second game too. :lol

Kobe led Team USA for 8 minutes, LeBron led them every other minute of the entire tournament.

There's no questioning that LeBron was the emotional leader of this team. Everyone loved what Kobe did in the Gold Medal Game, but just like the team needed Kobe those last 8 minutes, that team needed LeBron (and Wade) to set the tone for the entire tournament. If any one of those 3 guys was missing, there would be no gold medal.

Leave it douche ass fucking Kobe knobslobbers to ruin a great Olympic moment by once again making it all about the rapist.

Wade led them.

LeBron was absolutely the leader of that team, but Wade was also right there with him.

Wade played out of this world, overall he probably performed the best, but I didn't see him out there being vocal the way LeBron was. LeBron took it on his shoulders to be the heart of the team.

LeBron is just a vocal person and leader. Kobe fans get all hyped up thinking it makes LeBron better.

I guess:rolleyes Leaders dont go out and promise a win against teams that they should blow out, and then say to the media... look at me, I led team USA. Its all marketing man, and Leberon has bought into it. Anyways, he was an afterthought in China, and Wade did what he had to do to restore part of his lost reputation:toast

goodness your blind hatred of lebron is absolutely ridiculous. why do you hate on him so much?

actually he used to be quite a big kobe defender. his attitude to kobe on this board never chanced until the douche laker fan that came around the finals. thats actually the case for several alleged kobe haters on this board.

Also cursing his mother out on national television just because she came to his defense when he was shoved in the crowd.

He didn't exactly curse her out. There is a MAJOR difference between using a couple curse words and cussing someone out. And he had a legit reason to be mad at her, because that could have turned into a very ugly situation, and she absolutely had no reason to get involved and should have known better.

I didn't waste time analyzing the rest of the bullshit you wrote because its simply nonsense and clearly haterism against Lebron.

I don't think there is a single player in NBA history that can take Lebron in a best of 7 series of 1 on 1. No, not even Jordan.

i agree. he's just too much of an athletic freak to be contained. if he gets ball first and it's make it take it, everybody he plays is fucked :lol

I would put my money on Lebron, although when talking about one-on-one comparisons, its stupid to compare a Center to a Guard. They do two completely different things.

LeBron is the most naturally talented, most physically gifted player in the NBA, bar none. If Kobe is better than LeBron (and that's definitely no certainty anymore, but "if" he is), it's because of Kobe's work ethic and polished skill. I'm more and more swayed into the camp that LeBron is the better player.

LeBron was the leader of Team USA. I don't think there should be any question about or denial of that. LeBron was the best player throughout the Olympics. Dwyane Wade was the best scorer. And, Kobe, was still the best closer.
