To question Obama's lack of extensive political officeholdership and readiness to be Prez is surely fair game. And the Democrats were themselves harshly critical in blunt language in Denver, but of GOP policies. There was never any personal vitriol or rancor. With that in mind, let me just say that snickering at helping poor people pay their electric bills is genius! Bravo Rudy! It figures that Guiliani would find working with the poor comical and worthy of a laugh.

What the fuck was that? "Community Organizer?" What does that even mean? It's one thing to say his resume doesn't qualify him to be President, but it's another to look down on and demean his work with the indigent in Chicago, especially when he probably turned down an extremely lucrative career in corporate law in order to do so. There seemed to be something ugly and personal about the way they were attacking Obama, and I think it will backfire.

I particularly enjoyed when the crowd started chanting "Pinko! Pinko" after Rudy said 'organizer'; yet somehow they restrained themselves from chanting "pinko! pinko!" when Sarah Palin introduced her husband as being a proud union member

It's true, it's true, listen to Findog.
I organized the poor,
do not listen to bald-headed lore.

I brought change and hope to my peoples in the ghetto.
Now they have TV's, spinnas, and stilettos.
Well... after I left, back came the theft.

Now they are back to what was in the beginning,
But as you see me, I'm all about winning.
Change only lasts for a short while.
But do not fear, for I still carry a smile.
I will bring change to yo doorstep for a little bit while!

As much as I appreciate Guiliani, I found that segment of his speech to be somewhat disengenuous. Every career has it's responsibilities, whether it be a community organizer, or a town/city mayor.
