This is so bullshit.------ this is not about FNC.
An original member of Barack Obama’s finance committee said Friday that Sarah Palin is putting her career above her family by accepting the nomination as John McCain’s running mate.
Howard Gutman made the argument on “The Laura Ingraham Show,” telling the radio host that the Alaska governor should focus her energy on her unwed, pregnant teenage daughter.

Just goes to show how petty the left is.
When's the last time they said that about a democrat woman in any similar situation?
When's the last time they said any of that about a male candidate?
The left like to be the party of tolerance. They are anything but.
In this case, they are blatently sexist. The Feminists don't even care and have their own complaints!
Don't you lefties see this... Your party is a fraud!

I think most national politicians do put their job above family. If someone wants to get indignant about that, they are welcome to do so.

When's the last time they said that about a democrat woman in any similar situation?
When's the last time a Democrat woman was stupid or scummy enough to be in a similar situation? If you can name any high-profile, running for national office, female Democratic politicians with months old Down's Syndrome children and out of wedlock 17 year old pregnant daughters go right ahead Cobra.
She is a certifiable monster for several reasons, but throwing her obviously in need of a maternal presence family under the bus in exchange for political ambition is just about the sleaziest thing a "person" could do. Fuck Sarah Palin.

He's doing both, like most normal people in this country.
I wish the left would quit with the pathetic, lame ass attacks of her that stoop lower and lower with each passing day.
I realize Palin scares the shit out of you Dems, but the mudslinging is pretty pathetic (her not really being the mother of Trig, the AIP thing, the trooper thing, she attended 6 schools, and now this whole she's a bad mom thing).
Again, if you're going to criticize Palin for this, Obama is a shitty parent too. He's running for president, his wife is an administrator at a hospital, who's raising their kids? Clearly their children need more maternal support at home. :rolleyes
But hey, you're a Democrat. The whole motto of that party is do as I say, not as I do, so why should I be surprised?

"lower and lower"
... only because is that exactly where this lightweight, nasty, classless, vindictive, anti-science, power-abusing bitch operates.
It's extremely amusing to see the right wingers whine about the vetting of Palin and not wanting to hear the facts about her, when their Repug slime-and-slander machine has been World Champions for decades.
As always, the right wingers are macho poseurs when dishing it out, but whine like little chickenshits when it gets thrown back at them.

God forbidden anyone should say anything against Palin while she's out on the stump bashing the Obama/Biden ticket. If she can dish it out she better be ready to take her lumps too.
Why are republicans such whiners?
Retorical question: which politic (worldwide) doesn't put career above his family?

Here's the kind of slander from Repug Senators:
Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK):
Regardless of what polls show, Inhofe said, voters will have to ask themselves a question once they get behind the curtain in the voting booth on Election Day.
"Do you really want to have a guy as commander in chief of this country when you can question whether or not he really loves his country?" he asked.
"That's the big question.''
The story quotes an Obama aide criticizing Inhofe's remarks, then a runs a "clarification" from Inhofe that seems just as harsh:
"Let me be clear,'' he said.
"I am not questioning Sen. Obama's patriotism, but you have to question why at times he seems so obviously opposed to public displays of patriotism and national pride, like wearing an American flag lapel pin.''
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/09/07/inhofe-questions-whether_n_124588.html
=========
A Repug Okie still impugning anybody's patriotism for not wearing jewelry. And he does it with a straight face, like any Repug slime-bot well-programmed with Repug talking points.
Hey, Inhofe, McSame was wrong about Saddam/anthrax, wrong on everything about invading Iraq, is an admitted adulterer, and was corrupted by Charles Keating, caved in on his personal commitment about never supporting USA torture, but HUSSEIN! was right about Iraq. Care to address that?
Inhofe, any comments about the REPUG economy?

:lol Saying she's a bad candidate because her daughter got knocked up has nothing to do with vetting, it's called a huge and pathetic reach by liberals.
And the claim that she's a bad mom because she's focused on the VP role and not her kids isn't vetting. It's more pathetic propaganda by the Dems. Again, if she's a bad mom because her husband has a job and they have kids, then Obama's a bad father because his wife has a job. So if Palin should quit the campaign Obama should quit. Fair?
The day that you don't respond to criticism of Obama's policy ideas by calling people racists is the day you can make any of the above arguments without looking like the sorry ass hypocrite that you are.
Seriously, spare me the whole 'you can dish it but you can't take it' shit. People criticizing Obama are doing so over his policies, having known domestic terrorists as friends, etc.
People criticizing Palin are doing so over her family, how many schools she attended, and other assorted stupid shit. If you can't see the difference, you're an idiot.
The liberal hate machine is scared shitless and doing everything they can to try and get her to crater and quit. It ain't going to happen. But go ahead and keep up the attacks, all you guys are doing is pissing off more Americans and pushing them into the McCain-Palin camp. :tu

He's doing both, like most normal people in this country.
He can not be a STAY-AT-HOME Dad and work a full-time job outside the home. He can be an involved dad, an active dad, but not a stay-at-home dad. They have tried to portray him as being home running the family full-time while she does politics, but he isn't if he is at work.
She had a choice. Why are people so up in arms about the pointing out of the obvious choice she made. She decided she would spend the next 3 months running for VP instead of with her pregnant, unwed daughter. It is factual that she made that choice, aware of the circumstances in advance.
Women are still the vast majority of the primary care givers in this world. I, as a female, have never been offended that people assume the biggest burden falls on me, because it does.

Okay, name a national politician whose family doesn't make considerable sacrifices so they can seek public office.
This is a lame argument that will only get the left labeled as sexist. So, I say, go for it.
Besides, one could argue that being Vice President of the United States of America will afford opportunities to Governor Palin and her "special needs" family they might otherwise not have. I'd say it's a good career move.
Four years at a salary grade way above that of Alaskan Governor. Generally responsible for being the Administration's presence at ceremonial functions and State functions. Presides over the Senate, breaks ties...yadda yadda yadda.
Yeah, I'd say Mrs. Palin is taking her family's wellbeing very seriously in seeking career advancement.

I don't think that factual assertion is correct, but don't let that stop you from using it to make a point.
“I know we’re spending — I added it up for the first time — we spend between the two kids, on extracurriculars outside the classroom, we’re spending about $10,000 a year on piano and dance and sports supplements and so on and so forth,” Mrs. Obama tells the women. “And summer programs. That’s the other huge cost. Barack is saying, ‘Whyyyyyy are we spending that?’ And I’m saying, ‘Do you know what summer camp costs?’”
