I don't know much about programming, but I've been told by a programmer cousin of mine that if you're of reasonable intelligence and have an understanding of matrices you can pretty much teach yourself anything you want. Certification is important because people want proof that you know what you're doing. If I were you I'd download a bunch of books, teach myself and then go take a certification test.

A+ isn't programming, it's a hardware certification...

The A+ hype is all over the place. Some say you don't need others say you do.

I went online and there is a service that takes the test for you for a fee anyone know about this company?

The core part of the test is, the second part is OS

http://www.simulationexams.com/practice-test/a+-os.htm

Now the test is broken down into 6 parts I think. You can be A+ certified on OS and not the Hardware according to this girl I met at best buy.

When I was off line for a week i was bored there is only so much delta force I can play and i was already out of sperm since the late 90s from all the free porn so I was going trough a stack of DVDs and found this comptia course where the guys gives you the basic. This is a mouse this is a keyboard etc...

Then he tells you part one of a 15 module test and each module has 5 parts. Like module one my be RAM and in that module is laptop ram Desktop ram copier ram
what ram goes with what motherboard etc.

I real felt like my head was going to explode. Not to mention the head on my shoulders.
then i found out there are 5 other dvd discs and they are the OS part of the test. Well no one on BTjunkie has the rest of the test and since I am using my neighbors free wireless modem i figure i should not download many large files. so i did some Google'ng

There are many versions of the test and many websites that will give you the test. What i need is someone to take the test for me but finding a 5 foot 40 year old over weight long haired hippie that looks like Ron Jeromy is not easy.

So I am going to keep reading the PDF e books and keep taking the practice exams for at least 6 months since I heard the test cost 150.00 to take and its non refundable.

Anyone here have nay help or want to take the test for me please PM me asap!

I downloaded Mike Myers and a few other practice tests off of btjunkie.
some of the software will grade you, and some of the other software will give you the answers

I got mine over 5 years ago and from what I hear was a hell of a lot easier then than it is now. I used brain dumps and test kings to study. It was pretty much a joke. I had to get it as a requirement from my last job but they paid for it. That and Net +.
