Apparently it's an external device that plugs into your notebook computer. You still have to buy your own video card and you need to have an external monitor but it looks pretty awesome. All of the people with budget laptops might be able to do some gaming now instead of saving up and buying that XPS or Alienware.

The Product has officially been announced to come to stores in North America on September 7th of 2008.

Update: The XG Station has been delayed to the middle of September, also it has been announced that the product will not have the nvidia 7900, instead a different and a higher quality one, with many more advancements. The Product is ready to be shipped and will be in specific stores.

"We need a few weeks to finalize this product and consumers will be able to purchase it in September, hopefully," apologized Asus for the delay.

This is great for the Medal of honor and that other war time game that requires a spacial card. Its not a fast moving game so the CPU should be ok?

I tried to play some game I downloaded called call of duty or assault something i forget and it specificity asked for this.
