Earlier news was iffy. I first heard about 12 hours ago that Kim Jong Il has suffered a stroke in early August. He is not expected to fully recover and will likely stay wheelchair bound. I wonder how bad his twisted mind is screwed up?

I'm surprised nobody made a post yet on this. Here are a few stories:

I should have made this sentence different:

"He is not expected to fully recover and will likely stay wheelchair bound."

Change to:

"It is now confirmed that he is not expected to fully recover and will likely stay wheelchair bound."

That was the news on talk radio before I posted this.

Put a bullet in his head, get rid of his administration, and let his people be free.

Do they know how to be free after 60 years of oppression?

Didn't work too well with E. Germans, who turned out to nothing like W. Germans and huge drain on German budget.

So W.Germans aren't E.Germans and S. Koreans aren't N.Koreans.

Don't know about Cubans.

N.Korea is a little shit of country, blown up by dubya in his fear-and-smear fantasies.

...and then what?

(same question that was never asked in the run up to the Iraq invasion)

That's not true. There was a plan in place. There was all kinds of discussion on possible problems and outcomes. It just happens to be on the hard side of everything considered.

We have nothing to do with Kim's demise, unless we somehow got an assassin to him that botched the job. We are taking responsibility for Iraq, except for the demonrats who want to surrender.

I say we offer whatever help we can if they agree to becoming a nation like S. Korea, or even unify with hem. Otherwise, let the Chinese absorb them.
