I wonder why average people do not care about the knowledge?
They are just taking what is showed. The influence of the media and the "leaders" are strong as hell.
Is is because of pure atavism - being in a group? (some kind of society - having the backup?)

Most people do not want to think and look for answers themselves - they just do not like to look at the bigger picture and have distance to anything.
It's a complex topic I do not want to start (I think)
