Unless there's something else I find interesting on the ballot, I won't vote. If I do vote, its looking like McCain.

You bring up a good point. I haven't even bothered to look at local ballot items.

The full ballot probably won't be released until about when early voting starts, which still gives a couple weeks to look in to anything I didn't know was going to be on it.

Right now, the big one is if either Senator is up (I hate both TX Senators) and who my rep is running against (I have no major qualms with him, just wondering if someone better is up).

*Cornyn's up. Might be voting after all.

If you don't vote than don't bitch about it later.

BS

There's no "none of the above" on the ballot, so I reserve the right to bitch since none of the candidates inspire any sort of desire to vote for them.

Unlike many POS's out there, I do not skip voting out of apathy (well, occassionally I do, but those are the local elections), but out of the fact that I don't want ANY of them to win. It's the candidates job to convince me to vote for them, and all they want to do is convince me not to vote for the other guy.

I REFUSE to vote for "the lesser of two evils". If I think all of the candidates would make this country worse, why should I be forced to vote for one of them just to have the right to complain?

You not voting may place the GREATER of two evils in the whitehouse...... :(

Then vote libertarian. I hear you though. It just bugs me when I hear people complain about an issue and then ask them did you vote and they say no.

Infinitesimal chance of that this election, since I'd vote for the candidate who would win the state anyway. And yes I think Obama is the greater of two evils, but not by much (I just plain don't like McCain).

Oh, and Joe, no way I'd vote for Barr. I was hoping the Green party would step up with a decent candidate, but they went with a wacko obsessed with impeaching and prosecuting Bush, and basically empty otherwise.

I still maintain that I will have voted in the Presidential election even if I don't vote. My vote would be for "none of the above".

To answer to the original question: I ain't voting for either ticket; I'm inclined to vote against Obama/Biden more than I'm inclined to vote against McCain/Palin

I'm not answering your fucked up poll meant to exploit xenophobic and racial fears. I would vote for Obama if I lived in a battleground state, but given I'm in the reddest state in the union and my vote doesn't matter one iota, I'm probably going to vote for Green Party candidates Cynthia McKinney and Rosa Clemente. Maybe Bob Barr.

What state do you live in? If it's not Utah, Idaho, or most of the South (minus FLorida), you should vote for Obama - he has a chance in most other states.

I was wondering how long it would take for this to show up. Always does. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if he did vote this year.
