I never saw them, but I heard they put on a great show in their day. Don't know what they've got left now.

I would check this out if I were in SA. Especially if I were in the Mookie crew.

They are legends of rock & roll. Nuff said. :hat

Umm, isn't AC/DC (well, Bon Scott at least) buried in Fremantle cemetary?

I've never understood this 'doing a tour' without a rather vital member of the band. Surely, with the OKC Thunder around, they have plenty of royalties coming in.

I saw them back in 1978 w/Bon Scott and they kicked ass. They warmed up for Aerosmith. I wouldn't pay to see them now. But I'm cheap.

It's just too bad the AT&T absolutely SUCKS for concerts; I've tried it twice now and I never will again.

Actuallly, their best selling album, Back In Black, was post Bon Scott with Brian Johnson as front man.

I still like Scott better though because he's old school AC/DC

They have been with Brian Johnson for over 28 years now. They were with Bon Scott for about 7-

They have been together and touring ever since then. This isn't like a reunion tour you know?

True. But it's been 28 years now. They have had way more success with Johnson....

And it's not like Johnson has stunk it up being the front man....

Rock n Roll Train.

Standard AC/DC.
They're not about to reinvent the wheel with new material.
If you're expecting a bunch of time changes, 8 minute plus epics and a whole lot of guitar wankery, you should look elsewhere.

Naw that's what i expected. I was just hoping its not soley a money grubbing tour like Van Halens latest.

They are not the same without Bon. AC/DC might be more financially succesful with Johnson, but the music is not as good IMO. Altho Johson did fine.

And a huge part Bon not being as financially successful was the corrupt music industry holding back from giving them (and many other bands) airtime because they would not do payola. Been going on in radio since Dick Clark in the 50s. Probably before that.

I agree their Bon Scott era was their best. He was one crazy ass mofo. Brian Johnson is still good though.
