A proposed law has passed the Senate Judicial Committee to empower the Attorney General to sue individuals on behalf of rightsholders like the MPAA and the RIAA. Sadly, both Democrats and Republicans are going out of their way to increase the rights of corporations while reducing the rights of individuals. Sen. John Cornyn is one the sponsors of this bill.

Fuck the RIAA, the MPAA, and their fatcat fascist attorneys.

The rights of copyright holders should be upheld but these bastards get away with murder making examples of Gramma Jones who had little Johnny downloading mp3s on her computer.
