HOUSTON (AP) -- The Houston Texans' game against the Baltimore Ravens was moved to Monday night at 8:30 p.m. EDT because of Hurricane Ike.

The game was originally scheduled for Sunday afternoon.

Hurricane Ike was headed toward the Texas coast as a category 3 storm Thursday. It was expected to make landfall between Houston and Corpus Christi sometime early Saturday morning.

The game will be broadcast on CBS stations in Houston, Baltimore and Washington as well as several smaller secondary markets.

Cowboys Vs Eagles @ 8:30 ET

Curious to see who gets the better ratings in Houston.

I bet the Cowboys kill the Texans in the ratings. People like good football, and one game is good football between the two best teams in the NFC, and the other is going to be really ugly football between two of the worst in the AFC. I bet they'd rather watch a good game than their home team.

There's a lot of Cowboys fans here in H-town and the Texans usually suck so I'm sure the Cowboys will get the majority of viewers.

It will be very telling

I wonder if this means they'll show the Broncos/Chargers game instead?

There is no way Houston could win that battle in or out of the state of Texas.

Yeah she is but she is a hottie, but I think she has accepted it by now since she has more attention in college. She was freaked out in high school however (1st picture).

Well guys this doesn't surprise me, as oddly I think that some of the people in Houston who adored the Houston Oilers, myself included....never really warmed up to the Texans. They may have a little city pride and put a Bud Light Texans sticker on the Tundra, but not really fanatic for Luv Ya Blue like we had with the Oilers.

I bet Tennessee and the Cowboys draw more fans in Houston as a whole.

I always felt like the Oilers were that cool chick that was hot and pissed you off at times but no matter what you always loved her and it was great, then you break up with her and she bolts and then what follows her is that fucking high maintenance average looking nag you just want to kidney punch while you have the average sex with her. The Texans are that nag. :lol

There is no way they can do that. ESPN pays a fortune.

There won't be much of a viewing of either game as Ike will knock out most of the power around Houston.
