I usually do, but last year....I got sick right after getting the Flu Shot. :bang Then my whole office got sick too. :lol

This year I'm going to take my chances and not get it. :)

no. I'm not in a highly populated workzone and I would rather make sure that the very old and very young get theirs.

Did I miss that thread?

And no. I get sick once a year, most likely from the flu, so bring it on!

I can't remember the last time I got a flu shot. Or the last time I got the flu for that matter. Might just be luck, but I'm not about to break the streak.

When I worked in the hospital we always had to get it and I always got the flu. So now I don't take it and I don't get the flu. I don't give it to my kids either.

Flu shots are for the weak . . . (and the weary)

:lol How ironic, Just got an email today from work about it. We're scheduled to get it done at the end of the month. Although, I'm not too sure I will.

Last year was the first time I got it done, and I don't think it really did anything. I rarely get the "flu" usually its just a cold. **knocks wood.

We all get it in my house. I have a compromised immune system from the lupus meds & my daughter has asthma. My husband mainly does it b/c he doesn't want to get sick and bring it home to us. 2 out of the last 8 years I skipped my daughter's shot and she got sick both times.

Never had a flu shot. Only had the flu 1 time in my entire life. I'm thinking that it had something to do with the fact that I was living in my tweeker sister's filthy f'ing house at the time.

Why would anyone get a shot that gives them the flu? Seems counterproductive.

It's mandated by the job to get one every year....which sucks sometimes because it'll usually put me out for a day or two (elevated temp, fatigue, and nausia). Usually with a few rounds of Tylenol it's all good though.

Never had one. I don't see the logic in getting a shot to prevent the flu, and it makes you sick with flu symptoms anyways. Just wash your hands and stay away from people who have it.
