Bucks unveil alternate road uniform
Team to wear jersey in at least 15 road games and home opener
September 23, 2008
MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks unveiled a new red alternate road uniform on Tuesday night at the Bradley Center during the 2008-09 Season Subscriber tip-off party. The alternate road uniform, to be worn for the first time at the team’s home opener on Saturday, November 1, is inspired by the Bucks 1971 NBA Championship season uniforms.

Those are great. Sometimes less is more. Contrast that with those abortions the Magic unveiled yesterday. It reminds me of the simplicity of the Bucks unis from the Oscar Robertson days.

Those are better than any jersey they currently have.

Nice, they should do back to a green one like that also.

Best jerseys? Celtics, Bulls, Spurs, Jazz, Pistons.
Keep it simple and avoid the garish.

It's pretty decent. Almost bordering on bland, but I'd rather see bland than overdone futuristic shit with gay looking colors.
Not trying to be a homer but I love the Mavs uniforms, although I'd rather see them in green.
Take this uniform -

But replace the primary dark blue with this color green -

and the Mavs would have the sweetest uniforms in the league.

Those secondary Mavs uniforms are really nice. I always sport those when I play as the Mavs in 2k8. :toast

I would love to see a green version of our primary road uni.

A Mavs fan who is also a photoshop wizard should make a mock up and send it to Cuban, since he might actually consider it. Unfortunately I don't know shit about photoshop.

I hate these. They're boring and have a horrible color scheme. Even in green and blue I think these would suck. The fonts on the numbers suck too.

These are already the best uniforms in the league. They have a great logo on the front, good trim design, and good number placement. This should be their primary jersey, and they should base their home one on this and not the boring one at the top of my post.

That color will look really nice in places like the Bahamas, Hawaii, Puerto Vallarta... you know, all the different places where players from the Bucks will be when the playoffs start.

I love the P Diddy jerseys. I hated them at first but they are definitely a grower. As for our primary unis, our colors have traditionally been blue and green, and I don't like that green is absent from those designs. I actually don't mind the blue road unis, since they're not loud and they err a little more on the bland side. But I do hate the white home version, it's bland and boring in a bad way. I would be open to a white home version of the P Diddys. I'd also like to see them jettison that stupid horse logo and bring back the Don Carter cowboy hat logo.

Ironically, all of the Milwaukee/Wisconsin sports blogs completely missed the connection and roundly trashed the design.
