The station is off the air until 3pm this afternoon except for a voice over urging kids to go outside and play.

Pretty cool.

Why didn't I think of that?

I had him watching Scarface instead. :downspin:

Is Oswald on Nickelodeon? My two year old son loves that show, but I can't find it on TV. I usually just buy him DVDs.

It's raining here so my 5 year old has been coloring. I did get her to do a half hour of Rosetta Stone so it has been semi-productive.

My bad, Oswald is on Noggin, which is one of those channels owned by Nickelodeon but plays kids shows all day long. You probably need a digital cable package to get it, it's up in like the 150s.

Another little known fact...the voice of Oswald is none other than Fred Savage from Wonder Years. :rollin

I didn't know that. I know his penguin friend is voiced by the guy that played Squiggy on Laverne & Shirley.

BTW, ordered Noggin today for my son. Thanks for the heads up!

it always seems like a good thing but it always at the wrong time...so I have to switch over to kids on demand and put dora or ben 10 on and stop what I am doing ever 20 minutes to start another show...but yeah I like that nick makes an effort at it...but I think when this happens to other kids they just turn on the wii and play games....lol

I hated those kids that got to do it. Lucky bastards.

They always only grabbed one bike. I would have taken five and sold the other four or given them to friends.

Don't hate me, then. 1993 FTW. =P I didn't grab any bikes, but I got a LOT LOT LOT of toys.

In fairness though, games were much easier to sweep off the shelves. The Kay-Bee I ran through was much too small to have any bikes. But 3-4 games = 1 bike anyway... soo if you think about it.....

I did get one maaaaaaaaassive Barney plush. My dad ordered me to. I argued with him until I saw the $460 price tag. Yoink.

I spent months returning all the duplicate games to Toys R' Us. Those were the days. :lol

Nice, he should be in Oswald heaven! I wanna say it plays Monday through Friday at noon eastern.

There's also another show on there with this midget moose whose antlers wiggle when he talks. Like most kid shows, it's mostly cheeseball, but that still cracks me up every time.
