There have been some pretty big upsets in the NCAA so far...and this week will certainly shake up the rankings. Lets see where everyone thinks the teams should wind up.

1. Oklahoma - #2 behind USC and blew out a ranked TCU team. They deserve it until proven otherwise.

2. Alabama - They started off at #8 and beat #3 Georgia in a game that wasn't as close as the score indicated.

3. LSU - They get this spot by default. The two teams in front of them gave it up. They have a quality win over Auburn on their resume...so no one should really be ahead of them.

4. Missouri - Same as LSU. They were idle...and the teams behind them did nothing special to warrant passing them.

5. Texas - Beating a terrible Arkansas team is not good enough to pass anyone in the top 4.

6. Texas Tech - Idle like LSU and Missouri. Another case of "we get it because no one else wants it."

7. Penn State - Beat #22 Illinois. They move on up as others move out.

8. Georgia - They swap spots with the team that beat them. Still good enough to be top 10.

9. BYU - Possibly a little overrated at this spot...but as the #11 team they can only move up.

10. Ohio State - Got crushed by USC without their best player...and yes, it would have made that much difference. They are a top 10 team with him.

Really? Care to actually make a case for any other team...or would you rather continue to be a waste of keystrokes?

1. Oklahoma. For Obvious reasons.

2. Alabama. They have already beat two top 10 teams. Give Saban his proprs

3. Mizzou. Chase Daniel has been great this year.

4. LSU. They need a QB, but they're defense is carrying them.

5. Texas.

1. Alabama - I know they probably won't be, but to me, they've made the strongest case so far

2. Oklahoma

3. LSU - Growing pains with the young QB, but I'm cutting them slack as defending champs since Mizzou was idle

4. Missouri - Their offense right there with Oklahoma and Alabama

5. Texas

6. Penn State - probably a little high, but those three top 4 teams losing results in shit like this

7. Texas Tech - personally don't know much about them but they got enough buzz

8. South Florida - perhaps another case of the unworthy getting a gift wrapped ranking

9. Brigham Young

10. Georgia - if Alabama truly is the #1 team, can't slide Georgia down that far, especially for fighting in the second half to make it appear respectable

So USC gets beaten by an unranked team and stays in the top 10 but Georgia loses to a top 10 team and is pushed out? Ohio State wins and moves down? Gotta love the AP.

USC and Georgia both dropped 8 spots. Plus, USC lost on the road, and Georgia lost at home.

Ohio State didn't move down in any of the polls. Stayed the same in two polls, moved up one spot in the USA Today poll.

I don't see how you could NOT have Bama and LSU one and two. They have both played good teams, on the road, tough competition. The uo offense looked less than brilliant against a decent non-BCS team. Just because uo was #2 doesn't make them the heir apparent, it just means everyone else's rankigs were screwed up.

I still haven't bought into Penn State yet.

ttek getting pushed up to #6 or 7 when all they have done is struggle with a terrible Nevada team and beat not one, but TWO 1-AA teams? No.

#1 Bama
#2 LSU
#3 uo
#4 Mizzou
#5 UT
#6 Penn State
#7 USF
#8 BYU
#9 Auburn
#10 UGA

SC doesn't deserve to be in the top 10.

Auburn lost a great game to LSU.

UGA spotted Bama 31 points then decided to make a game of it.

if Ohio State beats Penn State they will go from #14 to #12- if Alabama beats LSU they will go from #2 to National Champs- they will just end the season right there

Well, let's face it, Ohio isn't everyone's favorite subject since the keep choking in the title game and they got absolutely throttled by an SC team that has now been shown to be a poser, as well.

I don't dig on Bama but they killed the preseason ACC fave/Top 10 team at a neutral and killed the preseason #1/SEC fave at their house. By far the most impressive showing of the season and I don't think anyone else is close. LSU has won some nice games but it was balls and playcalling in squeakers. Bama is ripping the shit out of people, on the road.
