I'd have the Skins #2. Gigates' are my #1.

I'm not sure what the overall records are, but if *feels* like Philly has even been a bigger house of horrors to Washington than Dallas has over the past couple of decades.

Before the game yesterday, I would have said that it would be great (and probably necessary in this division) for the team to get 1 out of these 2 roadies.

But now it is time to get greedy. Hopefully Taylor can come back for this one. While I'm not sure that Evans wasn't a better option for the Skins at that position against Dallas, JT is a much better match-up for the team against Philly.

giants owned the skins in the first half of that game so i don't blame you...gotta give the champs the nod til they are knocked off...

after the nfc east beats up on each other all season, i hope the best team has something left for the playoffs...(unless it's dallas...i'll have to root against them you know)

Pretty much. You root for teams in you're own division? I'd never do that.

If Washington wins on Sunday, after playing that schedule in first 5 wks, then I will be a believer. I mean, what team has to start out playing all three division rivals in first 5 wks all on the road??? The NFL tried to fuck them, but if Washington wins on Sunday, they will shove it right up the NFL's ass.

no way...unless the skins had playoff hopes resting on a rivals win or something...

but who didn't want the giants to beat the pats?

it's great for confidence and team building Jim, but it's always how you finish that matters...and you know dis!

The Pats' were completely different. No one in their proper state of mind would cheer for them.

But we had a new coach, new system, and to put them against their top 3 rivals all on the road was horrible.

well, our team was placed behind the 8 ball for sure, but i saw it as an opportunity...

as long as they can take advantage and win 2 of the 3 division games at home later in the year...then it will be all good!!!

we shall see...all i ever wanted was 10 wins and a playoff berth, but if Westbrook is out and the skins can beat the eagles and go 4-1!!!

well holy shit...

i still remember norv turners 7-1 start in 96 and the following collapse though so i'll just enjoy the season one game at a time...:wakeup

fuck that. Last year the Colts got no nod you speak of due to the Pats blowing their chode in everyone's mouth.

Skins played kickass D yesterday. They werent playing 15 yards off of receivers and using soft ass coverage schemes and they were aggressive as fuck. Take notes Phillips/Stewart. That is how you play defense.

I think this is finally the year that the Redskins reach the BCS.

Philly can be a nasty place to play. but its usually either one of two things for them, they are good and they destroy all NFC East competition or they get last place and everybody beats them (2005,2007)

I've been thinking about it, and I also think that - when the Skins were awful - they typically got thumped in Dallas. Every now and again they'd pull off the rivalry upset, but Dallas got some whoopings in as well.

But Washington always seems to be in the games in Philly regardless of each team's quality. And...those games always seemed to slip away in the 4th.

Here's hoping that the win there last year - where Campbell was very good - got them over the hump.

I'm not saying they'll win, but Philly is a team that they match-up favorably with.
