Looks like Tom Cable might get the job.

The Offensive Line Coach. :lmao

The guy doing the shittiest job out of all the coaches is the one who will get promoted to run the whole team. It's one step forward, two steps back with that organization.

that coach is not that bad imo

raiders catch a few breaks they could have had 2 victories

russell is decent
give that team some time

also head coach knew he was going to get fired so why even bother trying to win

He refused to fire a defensive coordinator that has blown leads in every single game they've played.

raiders d was on the field the whole second half

I heard a rumor that Al may be interested in Matt Millen.

That would be fitting, since both are inclined to waste money on sprinters as receivers.

ducks, I don't know if you know this (since you know nothing about football), but a good defense doesn't allow itself to be on the field for an entire half.

So that would have actually been a bad thing.

Stick to telling us who is getting fined and suspended and leave actual game play and strategy talk to the rest of us.

Here, I'll help you, what is going on with the Brandon Marshall stuff?

Why would any coach want to go there?? Davis fires all these guys after like 1 season.

they're saying it's "with cause" so they don't have to pay him.

Al Davis is the Hubie Brown of the NFL: a walking, talking corpse. Tough to watch.

it's good for Kiffin cuz it means he can join another team right away.

I'd love for Belichick to get him as an assistant, and once he knows the system, fire that piece of shit Josh McDaniels and move Kiffin to OC.

Al Davis has turned into the howard hughes of the NFL, what a crazy old man.

The last time a coach had been fired this early in the season was when Davis got rid of Mike Shanahan after four games in 1989.:lmao:lmao:lmao:lmao:lmao:lmao:lmao:lmao:lmao :lmao:lmao:lmao:lmao:lmao:lmao:lmao

Brown's synapses still fire at least SOME of the time. He has that all over Al Davis.

The entire Davis presser just showed that the man is completely senile. It was a joke. For example, he referred to 1959 as "thirty years ago," and he obviously forgot his canned lines regarding Cable.

Did you guys catch his press conference? I happened to catch the whole thing. It was so painful to watch. He was talking about staying "committed" to players who have been here for "8-9 years". Does he not realize that is what has made us the laughing stock of the NFL for so long? We were the oldest team in the NFL from like 2000 till 2004. That's ridiculous, you need to start stock piling young people, to take over what the vets left, but no, we kept picking up the Bill Romonowski's, and Trace Armstrong's of the world. They were great, but we would let go of our young talent like it was nothing.
