I have one that is similar and love it. You're right, it doesn't taste as well as charcoal, but for planking fish it can't be beat.

haha I know, I cant tell you then you might win my stuff.
last month I won $50 Valero cards two weeks in a row. Even the lady at the station said "man, this guy one last week."

But to be honest with you I enter lots of contests and just win here and there. You just have to know where to look and listen. For example people interested in advance movie screenings....

There are all kinds of freebies and contests to be won out there.

No, but on 3.25 acres, I could if I wanted to.

I have a New Braunfels smoker. Charcoal doesn't get anywhere near it.

That's a nice, high-performance gas grill there. If you keep it, you'll probably be glad you did.

I used to use the barrel charcoal grill all the time until I got a similar gas grill to the one you just won. It is faster to prepare foods, fewer trips in and out with the materials, but read the directions and learn how to use, including using wood for smoking.

I got rid of my barrel charcoal grill over time, if that tells you anything, and my wife doesn't mind grilling now, either. She likes it and is just as likely to cook on it as I am. It wasn't that way, before, on the charcoal grill.

You may need the money from selling, I don't know, but then again...if you sell the grill, you may regret getting one that nice for free and then getting rid of it. Springing for $600-700 for a grill isn't something that is viewed as a priority for many people with the current economy. If it's free, it's a blessing... if you use it.
