I'm in Orange County. It's been $160. for the 'Early Bird' orders, I think $189. after that. That's as of last year, I haven't seen this year's pricing. It's worth every penny. I've had it for years, I can't imagine being without it.

My cable company will split it over 3 or 4 months, be sure to ask if that helps your budget.

Oh, it will black out when we play the Lakers, you'll still see those games on the local channel.

League Pass is awesome. I get it no matter where I live (San Antonio, Dallas..). You get to see all games that are not on local channels or not on national tv. You can pay in installments (4 payments of 40.00) which usually makes it manageable. You also get NBA League Pass Broadband with your order which means you can log in to your account and watch the games on your computer (either live or they archive the games in case you miss it).

Mine is about the same with Dish Network...and will also split it over 3 months. League Pass is a must for me as I live in East TX and all they show is Dallas crap.

If you think about it, lets just say that you get all 82 games (for mathematical purposes, because 12 games or so are on National TV) when you buy league pass. That works out to around 2.00 a game. I would gladly spend that, and it is cheaper than going to a bar and ordering food and drinks to watch the games.

National games black out LP where I am. If the game is on ESPN, TNT, ABC or NBA TV, it's not on LP.

That is what I meant. As long as the game is not on nationally or locally, you get it with LP.

Never mind, I misread the quote. :oops

Then League Pass is the way to go. If you have a friend that is a Spurs fan (or a real huge basketball fan) you can always split the cost.

I got it as a birthday present last year and it ran around $160 (I live in Dallas and am on Dish). I'll probably wait till mid season and get a half year this time, depending on what they do during the first part of the year...

I don't know what I would do without league pass. It is my way to see Spurs games. :flag: I watch other teams sometimes. But I got is solely for the Spurs. I wish that it was around when MJ played. The only negative thing is that you don't often get the Spurs broadcasters. Some of the blatant hate and homerism can be overwhelming, but you get used to it. :lol

If you are an overall NBA fan, it is even better. I can not count the number of games I have watched from all over the NBA on League Pass. I like to hear the different commentators and hear their insights, no matter how skewed they are. Some are actually really good. The only thing I hate is that only one game per night is HD on my system.

According to my local Time Warner Cable reps, it's still too early to order. Instructions were to call back around mid-October.

Remember if you order prior to start of regular season, you can take advantage of the "Early Bird" special discount

No pre-season on LP, it starts the first day of the season and ends the last day of the regular season.

I don't think any Spurs pre-season games are being televised anywhere nationally, I hope I'm wrong.

does league pass broadcast EVERY single game? minus the nationally broadcasted ones, of course.

I've gotten this as a gift the past few years as well. I'm thinking of switching to dish and getting the sportspak for only like 10 bucks a month, in HD.

I've gotten the league pass the last five years and its been wonderful. The problem last year is all the good games were already nationally televised. If you care about the clippers on a tuesday night in nov., get it. Otherwise, they'll always nationally televise spurs/suns and spurs/mavs.

It broadcast every single game for every single team that is:

a) not already nationally televised
b) that is not being aired on the local channels where you live (so the spurs in san antonio, mavs in dallas..)

If you live in San Antonio and like the Spurs, then you get all of the games anyways on local or national. But if you want to see every single basketball game in a year for all teams, you get league pass. Basketball is essentially all I watch when the season is on. I just watch game after game after game. There is really no bad game to me. A boring basketball game is still better than anything else that is on tv.

I don't either. I was hoping we'd get something national, this is all I know about local:

Anybody knows how far the area of coverage extends from SA for locally broadcasted games?
I moved to El Paso but I don't know if I should get LP again. I had it in Michigan last season and it was sublime.
