All your socialism are belong to us?

Meh. It will neither be the death of the USA as we know it, as some claim, nor will it entirely avert the coming recession.

I would hope for detailed explainations from every representative who changed his or her vote but I'm not expecting it.

Does anyone have a list (from a reputable source) of the exact House vote today? This is an incredibly important criteria for who is likely to get my vote in the Congressional race.

It looks like the bailout would win a vote if it were up to the American people. Interesting. No wonder the politicians flip flopped without remorse.

Of course, most of the people in America are the same ones who bought too much house to begin with, ran up huge credit card debt, etc. Of course they were easy to scare into supporting it, people were running around this week saying their credit cards would stop working if Congress didn't vote in the bill.

Huh?

#3:

Did you want your representative in Congress to vote FOR an economic rescue? To vote against an economic rescue? Or, do you not know enough to say?

For 15%
Against 33%
Don't know enough 21%
Not sure 1%

---- edit ---

Ooops, my browswer didn't format right. The 45% looks like 15%...

Still, #2:

Do you support or oppose the specific rescue plan that the government has worked out? Or do you not yet know enough yet to say?

For: 18%
Against: 44%
Dont know enough: 37%
Not sure: 1%
