Better NFL prospect Maclin, or Crabtree?

Maclin, only cuz I never consider anyone from Tech who gets crazy numbers from a gimmicky system to be a good NFL prospect. Then again, there's Wes Welker.

Wes Welker and only Wes Welker (and Zach Thomas :p:). I haven't seen either team play yet this year, but I'll go with Maclin.

Crabtree is a freak, and Harrell is the best Tech QB yet. The argument about their system is a legit one, but I think this year Tech is actually pretty good. And so is crabtree, so I'd go with him.

picking anyone other than crabtree would be retarded!

Maclin and Crabtree are just incredible receivers! They play different. Maclin is a burner with more versatility. Crabtree is a natural receiver who can take on the on double teams and still produce, consistently.

Well according to pretty much every NFL Mock Draft, Crabtree is the #1 WR.

I'd go with Crabtree, if only because he's a bigger target and might be a bit more consistent with his reads and routes.

Maclin is undoubtedly the more explosive player and the more versatile player.

I might be a bit biased, but even so, I think there's a reason why Crabtree won the Biletnikoff Award as a freshman.

Crabtree might get drafted in the top 5.

Maclin - and it's not as close as many here think.

Michael Crabtree TTU:
5 games 38 rec 564 yards 112.8 ypg 14.8 avg 82 longest catch 8 TDs

Jeremy Maclin Mo:
5 games 31 rec 480 yards 96.0 ypg 15.5 avg 80 longest catch 5 TDs

so Maclin is that much better than Crabtree? I guess I'll just have to take your word for it because I just don't see it.

If it's 3rd down and 10, I'd much rather have Crabtree to throw to than Maclin.
