Now that Kobe got his, they can shut him up for a while and give the NBA's next golden boy his shiny trophy.

LeBron will have a crazy year this year. He won't win it though.

I think it will come down to Kobe and LeBron again. Kobe has the advantage of having a really good team that should have a great regular season record to help his chances. LeBron's team may once again be a 3-6 playoff seed. I'll vote for LeBron, but if the Cavs don't win 50 games or is a bottom four playoff seed in the East, he'll have trouble winning it even with great stats.

LeBron can't win it because he won't get his 50 wins. The reason why Kobe never got it before the last year was the same thing...no 50 wins, no trophy.

Only 4 of those guys can reach 50 wins so......

1) Kobe
2) CP3
3) Duncan
4) KG
5) DWill

In the East? 50 wins isn't crazy for a team in that conference when it has LeBron.

LeBron.

Deron does belong on the list. Props for mentioning him; he's better than CP3. Neither of them will deserve to win an MVP imo, but they are the only two pg's who should be mentioned in that class.

LeBron has always been in the East but he's never been able to win 50.

which is horseshit since it's most valuable, not best player.

Kobe's scrub teams the previous 3 years were pretty pathetic (Luke, Kwame & Smush were the starters) LeBron's team, although not great has always been very good on the defensive side.

My guess is LeBron won't get the MVP until he gets to New York/New Jersey, then they're gonna start raining on him.

I say Kobe. The Lakers will probably have the best record in the west, that will help him a lot.

yeah its absurd how underrated deron williams is.

he's the reason the jazz are a 50 + win team and the reason they pushed the lakers in 6 games.

had boozer showed up i think it would've went 7 games and the jazz could prolly kill the lakers.

deron williams is a straight up g. he has the heat and the skills. dudes also clutch.

Okay, the homers are taking a bit far here.

No Rocket will win the MVP. Actually I can see with how with the amount of pressure Oden's gonna take off the whole team Brandon Roy making a run at having his name mentioned.

LeBron talking to the Fans:

"You know I love you guys first, I ain't going nowhere."

Hahah, that's the first I've seen him say that. But I still think he's leaving town LeBron's too big for Cleveland, it's just the way it is.

The only way LeBron stays in Cleveland is if he gets a championship caliber team there, I just don't see that happening...they have great defense but their offense is just too lacking, even with that new kid joining.

LeBron put up 32/7/7 and won 50 games and he still didn't get the MVP, so I wouldn't even use the 50 wins thing as any indicator.
