Now your laptop or desktop can have unlimited high-speed wireless access. With Cricket Broadband, you have the freedom to connect to the internet from anywhere at any time. Simply purchase a Cricket Broadband modem and for only $40 per month, you get all the blogs, videos and music downloads you want.

Throughput may be limited if use exceeds 5GB per month. Internet browsing does not include: hosted computer applications, continuous web camera or broadcast, automatic data feeds, machine-to-machine connections, peer to peer (P2P) connections or other applications that denigrate network capacity or functionality.

it says there is a 5GB limit.

Does that mean if I exceed that they will terminate or suspend service for that period?

Am I already using over 5GB by just daily browsing on the WWW?

what if I download some shows or songs? will that easily push me over the 5GB limit?

enough to fill your pron needs? if not get a better plan with bigger download cap with slow speeds or big cap with fast speeds, at the expense of price.

You can go here:
http://www.dslreports.com/search

and review the options and the comments about each ISP until you find one that you like.

They say throughput may be limited which means they could slow your connection down significantly or disconnect it, but I hear it's a soft cap.

5GB isn't a whole lot nowadays...

The connection also won't be that fast, maybe one to one and a half mbps.

They also block a lot of ports so you'll basically only be able to check email and browse the web.

To me it sounds pretty horrible from what I've read, my Road Runner is 20mbps down and 2mbps up, I couldn't live with 1mbps except on my iPhone...

No way get Grande over DSL then, they have

1.5Mbps download / 256kbps upload for $29.95 from looking at there website.

Cricket thing will be slow.

Don't do it. 5GB is nothing, although it depends on how much you surf.

First off do you live in an Apartment? If you do, just go buy a Netgear usb and use a free wifi from many of your neighbors.

I get over 13 different servers.

I get around 40 mbps

second: If you like to download music or songs remember 4 gbs is only like 5 1/2 Cds a month or 4 movies unless its a quality DVD then your already about 2 1/2 gbs in the hole. chances are you will be upset around the 18th of every month.
