Because your ass isn't registered to vote

:lmao

Two readers with access to the Ohio voter file say that Joe Wurzelbacher's inluence on this cycle will be limited in one way: He doesn't appear to be registered to vote.

Per Ben Smith's blog.

You don't see the irony in McCain's poster child for concern being a person who doesn't even bother to register themselves to vote?

Not being registered to vote does not mean anything when it comes to my taxes and when it comes to taxes McCain sounds better to me.

He's working as a plumber, he's trying to build capital to buy a business at the same time credit has dried up because of dumb-asses on Walstreet and in D.C.. Probably forgot.

Then I'm not sure he can make the case that he really cares about how much he's taxed or that this decision is weighing heavily on him. He apparently said on GMA this morning that he WAS registered but no one seems to be able to find him on the voter rolls.

Would be even more ironic is if the illegal voter purges in OH removed him from the rolls for one reason or another.

I would find it strange for a guy who is politically inclined enough to actually engage a candidate, wouldn't be registered to vote; but stranger things have certainly happened.

I like how the media is helping Obama trash this guy.

What are you kidding me? This guy is the toast of the town right now. Everything I saw on him was positive. I mean there were fucking news crews outside of his home bright and early this morning and you could see dude was eating up the attention.

I guess if you dare challenge Lord Obama, you should expect a high level of scrutiny. I'm not surprised that someone actually looked into his voter registration. Heck, he'll probably be audited by the IRS after Obama wins.

But, like Tina Fey, he will be instantly forgotten after this election.

Some random citizen on the internet looks up the dude's info and you try to pin it on some culture of Obama bullshit? Give me a break. EVERYONE put into the national spotlight gets this kind of treatment and you acting otherwise is really disingenuous. Man, the people who don't support Obama are really in full pity party mode and there are still weeks to go before the election.

You do realize at least 1/4 to 1/5 of the state's voter registration files are easily accessbile public information, right?

Hell, I just found a Joe Wurzelbacher in Ohio's registration database, but it's a man born in 1936.

Hell, there are only two people with Joe XXXX Ruiz (I'll be damned if I publicly offer my middle name, although some GTG'ers know) registered to vote in Texas, and it's my dad and me. Guess how I know. Public information.

Interesting. I've been told (http://twitter.com/ksatnews/statuses/962363235) Joe The Plumber told Diane Sawyer this morning that he is indeed registered to vote.

Just read the whole thread. This is pretty pathetic for you, Manny. The issue here isn't Joe the Plumber's take home. It's not his voter registration status, or how many kids he has, or what he had for breakfast when he got up today.

The issue here is Obama admitted to being a socialist. So the only solution from the left to try and cover up Obama's damning admission is to run this guy into the ground and try to make everyone forget about Obama's statement.

Is this what it's going to be like if Obama wins? Any critic or someone who tarnishes the polish on the reincarnation of Karl Marx gets destroyed? Hitler would be proud.
