OK, polls are still showing 6%-7% undecided voters in the election...

How the HELL can people still be undecided? The two candidates offer RADICALLY different agendas...

Are these people just paralyzed living a normal life? you know...get out of bed and immediately have to decide...underwear? yes? no? if so, what color? socks? oh dear...look at all the colors...pants? shirt?...oh dear...my closet is so big...

Are these undecided voters the assholes in front of us at the drive through that take 20 fucking minutes to order?

At the ATM screen that just glaze over and stare when it asks them how much money they want?

What the fuck is WRONG with these people?

Make a fucking DECISION already!

I may not agree with Manny's support of the Democrapitalist Socialist candidate but at least he DECIDED something...

[end rant]

A large amount of the American public have to be spoon-fed information in order to make a decision. Neither one of the candidates has done much but preach to the choir, leaving the undecideds without direction. There will definitely be some "eeny-meeny-miny-mo"-ing happening on election day!
Also I think there is a percentage of Democratic voters unhappy with their candidate, but unwilling to publicly cross party lines for fear of being percieved as racist (i.e the Bradley effect), but who will vote Republican, privately, on election day.

I think we need to decide what we want to eat for lunch, before going thru the drive-thru!one trick i do is to always put a question mark at the end of your order. it makes quite a bit of uneasy silence. just be prepared to have your food "enhanced".

I'm undecided as to whether my write in vote shall be for Dick Hertz or Ben Dover. I just don't feel that Seymour Cox and his tax policy are fiscally sound or will do anything to help this economy.

This edgy female comediene was on the Tonight Show and also didn't understand why there were still undecideds.

hmmm...considering the average age of this forum and the large number of "I don't like either and don't give a shit'' votes in this thread I am starting to wonder if the "youth" vote is gonna turn out like everyone has been projecting...

Much of the undecided vote in places like Pennsylvania is from working-class white voters who ordinarily would vote Democrat because they are worried about the economy, but are struggling to come to terms with voting for a black man. So they are "undecided."

A lot of Texans post here, and that is one state that is most definitely RED before the vote happens. That would breed some apathy in the youth vote.

In all honesty, I just wish things were better than that.

I hope your wrong. As much as I dislike his policies, I don't dislike Mr Obama. If hes president, I don't have a problem saying "hes my president"

If true, what you said, that saddens me that there are still people like that. It may be reality, but its still saddening to a point still.

The average age in the forum is probably around 35. I'm not sure that counts as the "youth" vote ;)
