CIA in what context? Duncan is really hurt no? Pop just trying to push the issue a bit more so he can rest? Would that really be CIA? It is the truth no?

It has to look legit to be able to skip the ASG. Stern doesn't take those shenanigans lightly.

I really think Duncan is hurt these days. He really has not looked himself for a while now. He's still real effective, but he just doesn't look right to me at times. He has to be 65-70% right now.

He didnt look at all like himself VS Miami.

If they could sit him out VS New Orleans and all the way till against Houston the next week??

That would be awesome

Plus, it would get Webber on the team.

BTW, guess Kobe is goin and Parker aint.

Good, Parker needs the 5 days rest.

It would suck if we can't see Tim in the All Star Game. I hope he plays.

Boy our big man rotation that seemed so deep is pretty beat up right now, but you have to rest Tim if needed and hopefully this will not linger.

I hope he doesnt.

Id rather watch him in the NBA Finals than the stupid All Star game.

Weve already got Manu and Pop goin, what the hell, let Tim sit at home, play the XBox and get some lovin from amy and be good for the rest of the year

Stern will only let him out if the Spurs place him on the IL. That's been the policy, because too many players were bailing on the ASG, claiming minor injuries.

Fuck Webber, anyway. He sucks ass.

Dont really think its all that big a deal if Duncan does go. Pop is coaching the team and even if Stern forces Duncan to go, I would say its a safe bet that he is going to play only very limited minutes.

I would have rested him for 2 weeks minimum. It would have been better for the spurs and there would be still enough time to get the best record after the ASG. The record means nothing if Timmy is only 80% in the playoffs... DON'T PLAY THE ASG! I think Pop and Timmy will make the right desicion. We'll see...

Put him on the IR.

I don't give a crap about the all star game and I'll gladly accept a couple of losses if it means that Tim is going to get better.

This team will not win a championship unless Duncan plays like the Duncan of old. Shut him down for a while.

Brodels.

Thank you for the honest truth that no one can argue with.

Against Miami, Duncan looked old. It didnt look to good. I wish he was back up to 23 PPG 12.5 RPG, his numbers are the lowest of his career. I would not let him play in the all star game..

He should start the allstar game, then have Pop call TO and pull him out the rest of the game.

He should start though, it is an honor to be named on the team and he owes it to us fans to at least show up and be recognized.

like i said in an earlier thread. dish most his minutes between malik and horry. and give hime the kind of minutes marks gets. lol. but he'll recuperate in time for the playoffs
