You know I don't mind paying higher taxes for healthcare. Let me explain myself.

3 years and running my left testicle is getting larger and larger...scary large. After incuring a little over 2,500.00 in doctor bills I had to put a stop to it because it was about to spiral out of control. Having straightened my life out I couldn't bear the thought of destroying my credit again. I'd worked to hard for what I have. This would have domino'd into an easy 20k if not more. A hole so large it would have taken a decade to recover from.

Secondly I've had 3 heart surgeries and require annual testing and checkups. I can no longer afford the 2k a year it costs to get checked. Its just too far out of reach and I'm a modest spender.

I guess I chose to not live in poverty in hopes of surviving without healthcare. Tons of people are in the same position as I am. Not all tax increases are bad.

At one point I had healthcare. I had a hernia and when it was all totaled up the final billings tallied over 23k for the operation. 23k is a lot of money for a minor procedure. I was told my co-pay would be about 1k which was totally inaccurate and I got slammed with approx. 5,600 in bills. Took me 2 years to clean it up.

Well the heart surgeries were when I was born. So as of now and as far as I know I'm healthy but due to the severity on the surgeries I'm supposed to monitor it regularly.

As far as the testicle goes I guess if it was actually cancer it would have killed me by now.
