I'm surprised no one has made this thread yet.

Texas favored by 11.5-12.5, depending on the site.

Without going into a long-winded explanation, I think Texas will win by at least 20.

Should be more entertaining than the Mizzou game, but Texas by double digits nonetheless.

38-24 Texas.

That just means lot of people were betting UT, so they wanted to even it out by moving the line. That's all a fluid line ever means in Vegas.

it means okey state sucks and is over rated...prepare for a beat down...i'll be there in person to witness the execution...take Texas covering the spread.

i do think okie light is overrated...but they could hang in there. mizzou is not that great this year, which is something i said from the beginning, and are okie's only (pretty)good win. t.u.'s season has been much more impressive than the cowpokes'.

okie light has played t.u. well lately...

After watching OSU go up by a ton in the first half only to forget to show up in the second for the past couple of years, I'm not holding my breath for this weekend. But, I thought the same thing when they went to Mizzou.

If I were a betting man I'd take OSU and 13.5.

The last big Texas game that ended 41 - 38 ended quite well for the Longhorns.

I'd say that the spread of 13 pts is probably a bit much against a savvy OK State team. They're pretty dang good. But after Texas' absolute destruction of Mizzou last week I'm not AS impressed by OSU's scrappy win a couple weeks back. Still, Texas needs to watch out. I'll take Texas by a touchdown.

UT 56-7.

why not?

I'm thinking 52-24, and that's only because I think Texas will have a lot of 2nd and 3rd stringers in the 2H that will allows Ok. St. to score 1-2 times.

BTW, the over is 71 which sounds about right for this match-up. Could go under if Texas buckles down for 4Q's, but could go over if they let up.

Oklahoma State plays us ridiculously tough. If I didn't know any better I'd swear they've built and been practicing in their own train station, hidden in an underground bunker somewhere in Stillwater.
It's going to be very tough to beat this team. Let us not forget, it took one of the greatest comebacks in UT history to beat them last year, down 3 touchdowns coming into the fourth quarter. Luckily Butterfingers Charles had about 120 yards rushing in that fourth quarter alone and did not fumble while he ripped them a new AH.

If we get down that hardcore again, does this team have the impact players to help us come back like that? Doubtful. Gotta bring the heat, and not give up easy scores. Mack and Muschamp have been sayin we are not getting enough takeaways, hopefully that changes on saturday.

Special Teams is giving OK State easy field position. I only wish they would start a drive on their own half of the field at least once this next half. This game is just as tough as I suspected. My scoring prediction is predictably owning all of yours. Go horns.

The offense looks good but OSU is killing us on the ground...and as I type this Hunter runs for about 20 more yards.

We have got to find a consistent running game. We don't have anything that even resembles a 1000yd back. I'd like to see Cody Johnson get more burn as he looked good earlier in the season...but Mack loves his older players.

Williams scored on that 3rd down play inside the final minute. the replay showed as he was reaching for the endzone, he got the ball over the goal while his knees were off the turf. Once again the Big 12 officials fail to replay a crucial play in a Texas game. I think Mack Brown should have challenged. It isn't like he really needed that final timeout anyway.

The final should have been 35-24.

At any rate, it was a very good game. I am pleased that OSU gave UT a very tough game and tested them. This is something Texas needed going into Lubbock.

Damn, that running back and blocking for OSU were fierce. Bad news is UT sucked against the run big time, and good news is they were stout against the pass with next week's opponent being mostly a passing team. Gotta stay stout there too.

They gave up 217 yards to the #5 rushing team in the nation who averages 275 a game. Pretty good if you ask me.

Giving up 200+ on the ground is never a good game, I don't care if it's Jesus himself running on you. OSU is great on the ground, but you can't have all the missed tackles giving up YAC all day.

Horry For 3!

Colt McCoy almost lost the game. Shouldn't of been that close though. UT Special Teams fucked the defense.

Did ABC have a goalline view on the Ok St TD at the end of the 3rd (I think) where they reviewed the "fumble". From my viewpoint, it never looked like he crossed the goal line. He was hit and spun in mid air and parts of him crossed but I didn't think the ball ever did. Was there a clear replay that showed it?

Big props to OSU, they played very tough and this was a different team than in recent years. In the past I was never that worried about OSU, even if we were down I always thought we could just flip the switch and beat them-not this year.

That is a hell of a team. They've got a great QB, solid RB, the TE killed us all day long and Dez Bryant is going to be a hell of a WR in the NFL. Their team speed on defense was also impressive. I do think we gave away too many chances with to's and some sloppy play on special teams, but managed to hang on in the end.

It was also great at the end of the game as the OSU players were walking off the field, the NW corner of the stadium began chanting 'beat ou!'. Man, you know you hate a team when you start chanting beat ou as the other team walks off the field. All I gotta say for other teams playin OSU this season, watch the hell out.

CBF Recap.

Texas's offense still managed to hand it to a very good OSU defense, while still having what has to be considered an "off" night. The run attack sucked, and Greg Davis trusted Colt enough to keep throwing passes.

We had terrible terrible field position on almost every drive, and scored on three of them.

OSU on the other hand was spoon fed amazing field position the entire first half due to horrible kick coverage. That pooch strategy almost fucked us hard.
Not to take away from OSU's offense....they showed in the second half that they are probably the best play action running attack in the conference.

Colt McCoy showed he was mortal, but the team showed we can overcome adversity even when Colt is not flawless. The guy still had a sick percentage and nice TD's.

I'm kind of pissed McGee got so many carries in the first half that he honestly did not deserve. Ogbannaya has done nothing but huthle for us and he should have got almost all the carries in the first half. He still bailed us out with his hands yet again with like 80 yards receiving.

Shipley is the best receiver in the conference, breh.

Cody Johnson supposedly got robbed on that 3rd down goal line, but I was too drunk to notice it being a bad call.

Greg Davis is calling his most aggressive game plans I have ever seen. If only that Quan Cosby pass to Shipley had worked.....I actually got pissed that we got bailed out with a pass interference. For once....I'd like to see a trick play get us huge yardage. But prahps to Davis for showing us he has balls.

Our cornerbacks MUST learn how to catch the fucking ball, we've passed up so many pick opportunities. At least we caused 1 turnover, but that still was not enough.

Seems like winner of the next game could be the South Champ. Go horns.
