I saw it last night. Absolutely hilarious. It was better then knocked up and I loved Knocked Up. Why haven't more of y'all seen it?

Zack & Miri > Role Models.

I liked Role Models, but I loved Z&M.

We had to flip a coin to decide which one to see. Is Role models still a good one to see at the theater or should I wait until it comes out on DVD?

If you liked Z&M, then definitely. It's a little more toned down, which makes sense since they replace porn stars with children. My only complaint with Role Models as that it wasn't long enough. I could watch the little black kid slap around the 2 white dudes all day! :lol

Saw this today, thought it was hilarious BUT the first part of the movie is where it peaks then its all kind of downhill. Its still ok at the end, but the first half is just solid gold.

i liked z&m and i always thought i was a kevin smith fan, but i guess i am only a mallrats fan. i def like seth rogans works better and imo they are way more hilarious then anything kevin smith has ever put out. z&m was a good movie but i expected more considering seth rogan is in it.

That was the one part I didn't like. Seemed like the kind of joke that they shot because it was really funny on the page, but it just felt unnecessary within the context of the film.

Sometimes I just sit here and watch the high school reunion part... yeah, the beginning is the best part (Brandon St. Randy anyone?). At least the somewhat romantic parts weren't too cheesy.

overall it was pretty good. it's just like every other Kevin Smith movie, funny as hell until he decides he needs to actually have some sort of emotional story to his movie, and then it gets really corny.

justin long was definitely the best part of the movie.

"an all male cast? Like Glengarry Glen Ross?"

Yeah - the whole emotional shit at the end is what brought it down, but the opening coffee house scene had me laughing so fucking hard.
