Edit - (Part 2) Mouse, put your picks in. Patrick? LonghornE? My guess is that y'all didn't make picks. Maybe a better way to do that is to tie you guys for the worst record that week. So instead of making you guys 0-14, we'll make you 7-7. I can go back and correct it if everyone agrees.

How could I be 30-30, if I didn't submit any picks this past week ???
If that's the way the system goes, i.e. you fail to submit any picks, and they go down as ALL losses, then count me out for the rest of the season !!!!

I was 6-8 this week and am 30-30 overall.

I get an extra win every week? I mean, thanks and all...but like I said, I really want to earn my .500 record.
Looks like i'm right on pace.

travis2
10-01-2003, 04:24 PM
hey coz...here's what I have, and I checked against both what you have posted and another pool I'm in...

Week 1: 8-8
Week 2: 10-6
Week 3: 11-3
Week 4: 11-3

Total: 40-20

Remember, there was an extra loss you had me down for last week...you corrected it here in the forum, but did you fix your books? Maybe that's where the difference is...

travis2
10-01-2003, 04:34 PM
Hey Jim! Get this...

Travis: 8-8 / 10-6 / 11-3 / 11-3 = 40-20
Jim: 10-6 / 10-6 / 10-4 / 9-5 = 39-21
Betsy: 8-8 / 10-6 / 10-4 / 11-3 = 39-21

Please read the newly edited part of original post "Edit - (Part 2)" If everyone agrees, we'll continue with those rules. Unless of course the picks were made, as in Mouse's case, and Longhorn's a few weeks back.

PS - Mouse, NP about last week, but remember to make this weeks picks...........................

My $.02, people should get any credit for failing to make pics. They should get no wins, and no loses- the person with the highest win % (granted they participated most of the time) at the end wins.

I like the 0-14 idea. You snooze, you lose. I would however also do what coz did about allowing the Mouse and Jim picks because they had proof. Part of this contest is posting your picks every week.

Coz, I am 40-20 and Travis is 39-21. Last week he had 28 wins and he won 11 this week, so that gives him 39. Last week I had 31 wins and this week I got 9, so that gives me 40. Please stop listening to Travis and letting him change the records, he is cheating.

Travis, you do the math...check last weeks records priorto the picks...you were 28, now you are 30. I was 41, add 9 and you get 40....Cheater!

travis2
10-03-2003, 10:18 AM
Coz had me down for an extra loss. We checked. Quit just looking at the numbers and actually check the picks.

Jimcs50
10-03-2003, 10:54 AM

travis2
10-03-2003, 10:58 AM
Jim: 10-6 / 10-6 / 10-4 / 9-5 = 39-21

Jimcs50
10-03-2003, 11:09 AM

There are still Plenty of games left
There is No need to panic.

In week 2 Of the Tickets NFL challenge?

My Pics did not take.
I went to check On If I had picked The colts or not?

And it showed no Picks.
I was able to make at least 6 picks.
As long as the game has not started?
You can make Changes.

I went from page 4 to page 11 I fell to 800 something
place.
The next week I lost only 3 teams
and week 4 I lost only 2 games. I am on page two now.

so if your good?
You can get In first place in two weeks,

I think This week there will be many of you with 4 or more
losses.
The teams are to evenly matched.
And no one knows who will show up when.

After all? Who knew the eagles would lose 3 straight?

no more whining start picking some winners
Good Luck :)

Coz, I know I went 9-5, but here was my record after week three:

Standings After Week Three:

correct jim, the mistake I made was in calculating the week 3 picks. you should have had 30 wins, not 31. If you go back to week two, then add you picks, you'll see where the mistake was made. I would've never checked again if not for travis2, its all his damn fault. The football karma gods will pay him back methinks.

But the current record is the correct one.
