Boys and girls, when two snakes are fighting, don't stick your hand in the freakin' container...

I'm not a snakeologist but a cotton mouth does not look like a rat snake

If I was the parent I would SO be having a talk with the administration and teacher...what a fucking idiot...how could he miss that classic triangular pit viper head and think it was a "harmless" rat snake?

Here's how my thought process worked as I started reading this.

BIG SANDY, Texas — Two high school students bitten by a venomous snake in science class...
Where the hell is Big Sandy? And what kind of idiot teacher puts a venomous snake anywhere near a student?

...are recovering at an East Texas hospital.
Ah.

If it was fighting with another snake and had an all white mouth that should have been a clue it was a water moccassin.

My favorite line is at the end:

"I don't know if we will allow snakes back into any of our classrooms."

You don't know? Maybe that lawsuit will help you figure it out...
