okay you rookie fans, let's say that Hairston, Farmer and Tolliver make the team. You can only suit 12.

1.oberto
2. duncan
2. bowen
4. finley
5. parker
6. thomas
7. mahinmi
8. bonner
9. mason
10.vaughn
11.hill
12. Udoka

and don't forget who gets cut when Ginobili comes back. Spots 13-15 need to be rookies that can season in Austin or an injured vet who will slide into the 12 depending on the situation.

I also think Vaughn will see injury time on the inactive list with "knee tendinitis".

Mahinmi may start there but he won't finish there. In fact he may play no more than 4-5 games before he gets the call.

We shall see but I don't think Mahinmi will see much time this year.

I can't see Mahinmi in D-league again..that isn't going to do anything for him..he already spent a year there in looked good, so it's time to put him in some actual NBA action..we don't want a disgruntled player on our hands, before we even get a chance to see how he can play with the main roster..

Vaughn isn't going to be on the 12-man for long IMO..

I also think we trade Bonner for any decent enough deal..

Considering the Spurs season starts October 29th and Austin's season starts November 28th, I think he'll begin the season in SA.

I don't like it either, but I can't see Mahinmi getting minutes with the big league team without any preseason minutes.

I've pretty much lost hope on Mahinmi.

Fucking SPlitter cocksucker.

Well when the Austin season starts he'll be down there to stay.

IMO though he won't get an active spot over someone else to begin the season to play.

If they keep newbies for spots 14 and 15, and Ginobili holds one spot on IR, I can see them keeping him in SA until Manu is activated. Why would they keep someone who has no experience in the system at all in SA when Ian has one year of SA/Austin ball under his belt?

You don't have to make up anything to put people on the inactive list anymore.

Ahh, thanks, I always thought it was pretty funny how much tendinitis or back spasms were rampant in the NBA.

Vaughn, Bonner, and Manu would be the IR, to allow Farmer and Hairston to be active, and for Hill to be thrown into the fire.

I dont understand the Spurs. The only young hope is playing at Austin. He's proven to be All Star in D League. After all that happen to this ballclub this year, this probably cream on top. Realistically we are not going to win championship this year. You may be in a state of denial, but judging from how other team develops and how we are managing our problems..honestly Spurs is not going to win it this year. I am hoping Im wrong, but I am not surpised at all if we lost in Western Finals just like last year.

It was a joke. They have to fake an injury so that people don't get pissed when Vaughns not on the court.

Get it?

Yea, not funny at all now.

Wait a second, doesn't Manu count as one of the 15 on the roster even if he's hurt? That means they can't keep three, right? If they could do that, then they could try to make trades during he beginning of the season.

it's not going to be that bad... although throughout the summer games everybody was talking about is the on-court chemistry that george hill was able to develop with mahinmi, so I'm just hoping that mahinmi will NOT play in austin

That's right -- unless somebody is counting on the Spurs waiving Manu, he has one of the 15 roster spots, whether he's injured or not. Also, anyone who's going to Austin while the Spurs retain his rights has to have a roster spot.
