Dude the tickets on ebay right now are so cheap. 30 bucks for a pair etc etc. I mean wtf you can't even go to a Spurs game that cheap. It must really suck to be a Lions fan.

I just got my car winterized this last weekend, so I should be okay. If the weather is so bad that my car won't start, then I probably don't want to be out driving and can just take the bus for free with my UM ID.

I lived in Ohio for years and never had to have a starter installed but maybe MI gets much colder? Good battery and good anti-freeze and you should be fine.

No, no, madam, you misunderstand me. The car starter is so you can warm your car up without going outside.

I wake up in the morning, grab my keys and start the car, jump in the shower, get out and on my way.

Car is all nice and toasty with the added bonus of not having to scrape your windows.

I grew up in Defiance which is about 45 minutes south of Toledo. I guess I just got used to it from all the shoveling of snow and the sledding I did. But yeah, there were some bitter cold days that caused major shrinkage.

I lived in Chesterland, which is about 45 minutes NE of Cleveland, so we'd get the lake effect snow (http://www.weathernet5.com/weather/1881775/detail.html).

Of course, I was too cool in my teens to wear a hat so I froze my ass off! And my school was usually the one that didn't get a snow day :(

Dont get lost in Detroit. I *think* youre Hispanic, so you may get away with it, but I have heard other parts of the country arent like the Metro Area.

We arent very integrated and there is a bit of palpable animosity when randomnly roaming the neighborhoods outside downtown (Detroit's "downtown" is like 2 square miles...it aint much of a downtown).

And don't look for the police to help you. They don't give a shit and have no problem telling you that.

Traffic lights and signs are only there as a suggestion and are not to be followed.
