Joe Chalupa and I lost 220 of our brothers along with 18 Navy and 3 Army personnel.

We've been fighting this war longer than most people realize.

A day I will never forget.

And as a side note I met up with an old Marine Corps buddy whom I hadn't seen in 25 years yesterday. I served with him back in 80-83 and he lost his son in Iraq in June of this year. He was in SA visiting some of his son's Marine brothers who were in the same Humvee that was bombed and took his son's life. What a proud father he is.

Wash is one of the finest men I've ever met and proud to have him as a brother.

..in addition...
Thanks, JC for posting that article.
I send a prayer up every night for our men and women, so I'm very thankful for each day that goes by where we don't hear of a military casualty.

Thanks again.

"We've been fighting this war longer than most people realize."

what is the connection between the Beirut barracks bombing and the bogus GWOT?

Terrorism was around before the Iraq war.

Yeah it's been around since the French Revolution.
