dubya sics his compromised, politicized FBI attack dogs on ACORN. FBI violates their own rules and leaks the investigation, giving an air of culpability to ACORN.

After the Supremes rule against the Repug case about 200K voter registrations, Repug Boner still requests Repug dubya to require the 200K to re-verify their status, only days before the election.

FL Repug transvestite/disenfranchiser Katherine Harris re-incarnated in Colorado:

"5,000 Coloradans whose voter status is in limbo because of [a] controversial check box...The registration form asks for a driver's license or state ID number. If applicants don't have that, they're supposed to check a box and then put down at least the last four digits of their Social Security numbers. But thousands of people didn't check the box. According to a policy adopted last year by Secretary of State Mike Coffman, these applications are supposed to be listed as incomplete...National and local voting-rights organizations criticize Coffman's policy, saying it violates other federal laws. They say Coffman is unfairly putting up barriers for people who are eligible to vote and want him to change his policy."

and

"More than 11,000 ballots went missing when the vendor in charge of printing the ballots, Sequoia Voting Systems, reported delivering 21,450 ballots to a Denver mail processing facility on Oct. 16, but the U.S. Postal Service said they only received 10,364 ballots that day.

Stephanie O'Malley, Denver's clerk and recorder, led an investigation by the Denver Elections Division that discovered Sequoia Voting Systems didn't prepare the mail-in ballots because of a technical problem with a data file."

Repugs can't win it, so they're going to steal it, like they did in 2000 (Florida) and 2004 (Ohio, see Spoonamore).

If you can't read the instructions and check a box, you probably shouldn't be entrusted with voting for this country's leadership.

Just sayin'.

"And yet, if you made any of those logical choices -- if you gave all the social security information required by law, but simply didn't check the box - Coffman is attempting to use that choice to potentially invalidate your registration and prevent you from voting."

"In case you think Coffman's move isn't extreme or motivated by partisanship, consider the fact that two big Republican counties are doing exactly the opposite of Coffman. As the Rocky Mountain News notes, "Election officials in Jefferson and Larimer counties also disagree with Coffman, saying they are weighing in on the side of the voter and won't disqualify people because of what they call a technicality."

One of the only posts of yours I agree with.

Bouts, are you upset that voters in general may be disenfranchised, or are you upset because you believe that more Democrats than Republicans can't follow simple instructions, thereby lowering the votes for the Dems?

Boutons is right in that the repubs will stoop to just about anything to steal the election. Doesn't matter, they are going down in flames.
