We needed him to step up big time today and he did. With Romo out he will continue to be the focal point for this offense.

Our defense played outstanding today, something I knew they were capable of even with the injuries.

Our linebackers kept us in it, and Ball and Scandrick played great. Maybe this is the spark we needed to get the train back on track.

to answer your question in a less hostile manner, he had key runs at timely points in the game. he brought some spark to the offense when it was needed. From a fantasy perspective it was nothing to write home about, from a delivering what the team needed at that time it was pretty big.

LT is still the better back. Marion Barber is an above average back at best.

Hah ... I personally think LT is overrated. But hey, you know what they say about opinions.

I really wish that they would start Jones when he comes back and save Barber for small yadage/redzone like they did with Parcells. He's a beast, but he keeps getting run down in the open field.

just throwing this out there, Marion Barber is 5th in the leauge in rushing yards, 4th in touchdowns(he has 7, 3 players have 8) this includes running backs and receivers. He is also 3rd in the leauge in yards from scrimmage including receivers and running backs. That is one hell of a slightly above average back.

I don't know if I would start him, to me it really doesn't matter, I would love to see felix get more touches. I don't care if they split him out, two back set, whatever but it seems like he gets a touchdown every 5th time he touches the ball. I am sure that ratio would go down the more touches he received but you have to give a guy with that kind of big play ability at least 10-12 touches a game.

I'd love to see Barber go back in as a third down back. Jones has to have more touches; he's just too lethal not to utilize.

Explain that for me, I assume you don't mean incorrect, just curious what you mean.

Those stats are always skewed until everyone has their bye.

Ah. That makes more sense than anytihng I was expecting. One might consider the Redskins game a bye. You still have to admit that he's far above average.

As much as it pains me to say it, Portis, IMO, is the MVP right now.

good point, I did not even think about that. I will make it a point to revisit these after the final bye week.
