Take the wins for each team for last season + wins in playoffs + wins in preseason this year, multliply by 2. Then take the total losses from last season, playoffs, & preseason and subtract it.

I don't see how Miami, with a healthy DWade, Matrix, Beasley, and Haslem will be the worst team in the league.

Its a power ranking. If a team improves, then their power ranking goes up.
